The clans want freedom from Omni-Tek, but we ALL use credits, dont we? And Omni-Tek was here first, so obviously we brought the money system into Rubi-Ka, so why would the Clans want to be using our currency? It could be rather interesting.

I would assume that the 'credit' is issued and backed by the Interstellar Confederation of Corporations (ICC), or some branch thereof. It would be inefficient and cumbersome to galactic trade if every corporation had their own form of currency.

I don't think it will work to split a fake currency, especially because there is no medium item of value to compare it with (such as gold) and you will severly reduce trade. It simply does too little for all the problems and hassles it would cause.

Can you imagine the fiasco of introducing this concept into the game?? If a 'fix' to the amount of items that an apartment can hold broke combat ... what do you suppose this will break?
