Last night I logged into tir to find:

It was amazing..just like fate made it happen.
I zoned into Tir when itshootz was talking about me Exploiting.

In short what happend is I killed a lvl 30-40 , Dunno which profession

Now...becuase of this A GM had a word with me and I am not happy about it.

One..Becuase firstly I did not "KNOW" I could ever attack lower people, like 50 and my level.

I was teamed with a 50 Buero and a 89 Doctor named electrodoc....He wanted to stay out of it but I name him becuase He can varify all this.

I think becuase his pet could attack it let me attack.
But I didnt not know...it wasnt allowed or was considered an exploit.

Hehe....I am for one known for moaning about exploits but....Me doing it?

Yes I admit I killed a low level but...for a reason? no? Do I always do it? no.

I have done so with my brother but it was as simple as teaming with him, some times it would let me soemtime sit would not.

People have done it to "ME" many times and never did anything about it cuz i thought it was okay.

But its not.

The gm could have told me its not allowed but no..

Even If I did not know it was allowed my account gets....banned?

Not only that but the GMs spoe to me only a few hours later.

Why Is it I petition alot of the times doing

And I never get a reply.
I even sat down for 2hrs and 30 mins with a low level char watching Exploiters waiting for the status to say 1 peition infront of you...

I sat there watching Tv eating something
But I waited.



Its like fate was meant to get me like this....

The bad guys dont get caugt, the innocent guy who trys his best for his guild and try to help the community in catching exploits gets done himself.


All my guild members know I can be sometimes Agrovated easily....but I have changed, my leader has thanked my for not getting angry anymore and keeping my cool.
I have always been ready for anything, helped people...
I buff everyone for free (awww so what )
People compliment me ingame about my posts.

But...This is a real Morality Downer and I think there more rea life moral "downers" to come

ignorance does not mean innocence.

kingarthur i think you are missing the point here. the other player was the one exploiting and cloudeh gets a 'warning' for it. Very funny, siraakin is known for being not so smart. Lets just say at a clan vs ot war he(siraakin) was killing afk clanners to get his title. Siraakin is also a clanner. Of course he'll probably swear i am lying, but screenshots dont lie.

I'm not even PvPin but I always thought everyone knew that a grey player could be killed if teamed adequatly.

Bah, that's even one of the biggest issues in PvP IMHO.

PvP is war.

The only reason why Cloudeh should be banned (and not warned -> banned) it's because he's another Omni scum.

Let me get this straight:

1. Cloudeh teamed with a lower level player to be able to attack other low levels.

So? This is how the game treats teaming. The PvP level range expands according to the min-max level of your team, to let everyone fight and defend people who are able to attack your team. Believe me, I want to follow all there rules FC can make, but how can I when they don't post them anywhere...the first time you'll know something's not legal is when you get a warning.

2. The other player was teamed with a higher level player.

He might have been, and if he was then he has absolutely NO reason to complain. If you team with a high level in PvP you accept the risks associated with it.

I don't get it...the little info FC has posted on the subject says that a PvP team will be able to attack players withing the teams min-max level, or did I miss something here? I've been attacked by lots of players much higher than me because they were teamed with a lowbie.

Please oh please don't turn this game into a carebear-whiney game where the only PvP allowed will be inside special arenas where people have to sign three forms to be able to defend themselves and send a written letter to FC to be able to attack someone. If you spend time in a PvP zone, accept that you will die. If you don't want other players to kill you go somewhere else. And it would be nice if FC posted a complete PvP rulebook. Heck, when people get warnings just for attacking someone in a PvP zone (we're hunting, waaah) then something is seriously wrong.

Just to add something to this.

Lets make an example.

I being a level 123, team with a level 50 character.

The level 50 character is getting gang raped by tons of people.

He wants me to help him.

Even though I am teamed with him I am unable to Initiate combat with people of his level.

Although I AM able to /assist him if he is attacked by someone else his level.


I guess my point is you cant go and team with a super low level person and go killing people their level unless that lower person is attacked first.

I assumed that if you entered a political zone you were fair game to anyone. You mean this isn't true? You mean a level 100 can't attack my level 25 if my level 25 enters a political zone unless the level 100 is teamed with a level 25 or so and I attack the lower level player?

Uh....I think it was much simpler the other way around. Go into a political zone and you're fair game. That is nice and easy to remember. The other way gives me a headache.

Indeed Laeni, a PvP zone should be free for all, no artifical restrictions on who we can or can't attack. That way PvP zones would truly be high-level zones, not just lvl 75-200 fighting it out while lowbies beg for credits or leech xp because we can't stop them.

Teaming with a lower level player changes the min-max level of the player teamed with you to the min max level of the highest level player on your team.

level 10 teams with a level 100.

level 10 minimum becomes level 75.

1.) Level 10 will be able to INITIATE PVP with other players level 75 and up.

2.) Level 10 will no longer be able to INITIATE PVP with other players his NORMAL min/max range. No one in his team can do so as well.

3.) He is however still within the level range of other players. If a Level 8 player initiates combat first with the Level 10 player then 'said' Level 8 player becomes fair game for all the team members in Level 10's party regardless of their Level. So the Level 100 can then counter attack the Level 8.

This was changed since launch. Initially a Level 100 teamed with a Level 10 can initiate combat with all players up to Level 10's minimum combat level range.
