Dodga or Alvin?

I heard neutrals can get the Dodga/Alvinpads too but which one do I get the quest from. Do the pads look similar to the ones clan/omni get ie Alvin-Omni, Dodga-Clan. Help me out please.

Neutrals can get both quests. You get exactly the same mission rewards as you would if you were Clan or Omni, even down to the mission and bravery tokens. Just go to see Alvin or Dodga (your choice), navigate the tortuous conversation tree (with any luck revamped this patch) and do the quest in the normal manner.

One advantage (the only advantage?) to being neutral, you can get both sets of shoulderpads

At what level can neutrals get the Alvin quest? Last time I went out there (lvl 56), someone/thing aggroed me and I was killed by a Slayerdroid.

The rewards are exactly the same except fo 1 thing
the OT version of the lvl 3 pads has 20 first aid and the clan version 16.

The mission can be taken at any lvl (from what I've seen so far)
But if you want to visit Alvin you'ld better have a yalm or other means of flight. (because of the slayerdroids)

Do the pads look different depending on if I choose Alvin or Dodga. Dodgas quest means I get clanpads and vice versa.
