    Assembler Research Group

Name: Assembler Research Group ( A.R.G.)
    ICC designation: Megacorporation
    Industries: Applied-Nanotech, Materials-Science, Bio-Med, Defense
    Ticker Symbol: ARG

Founded in 25045, with offices on Rubai-Ka, we are a multi-terrestrial corporation engaged in developing cutting-edge nanotech applications across a wide range of industries. Our Assemblers (micro-molecular-machines used in the nano production process) are capable of producing versatile, high-quality nano for fields such as: Materials Science, Micro-Electronics, Bio-Medicine, Security, and Defense.

Contacts for more info: Silkex,Thortek, Cloelia, Symone and Munnin

Originally an OEM manufacturer for OMNI-TEK, Assembler Research Group was an early liscensee of the Omni-Tek umbrella-patent for nano, and quickly developed their own brand. (A.R.G. microdevices™)

A.R.G.'s has products across a wide range of industries, From Defense Applications, to Materials Science, to BioMedical Nano.., All of which have enabled it to grow to ICC Megacorporation status. Although a "small-cap" company when compared to the OMNI-TEK Hypercorporation, A.R.G. is always looking for ways to expand its business, and aims one day to compete with Omni-Tek head-to-head.

Originally an off-planet company, A.R.G. moved operations to Rubi-Ka in order to conduct research, manage liscensing agreements with Omni-Tek, and keep an eye on Omni-Tek production of Notum. Like many corporations, A.R.G. has been repeatedly frustrated by the disparity in representation smaller companies receive within the ICC. A.R.G.'s profit margins are continually squeezed by not only having to pay the rates set by the ICC for Notum, (and we all know who has the most pull within the ICC...) but also by having to pay Omni-Tek liscensing fees. The Omni-Tek monopoly is bad for business and bad for the consumer. If the consumer wants good Third-Party nano, they have to pay outrageous prices. And if they can't afford that, then they must purchase the shoddy, and often dangerous, nano produced by Omni-Tek.

It has come to our attention that there have also been Human and Sentient-Being rights violations prosecuted against the population of Rubi-Ka while the planet has been under Omni-Tek 'Management'. If evidence can be shown to the ICC proving this, then we have grounds to revoke this Omni-Tek leasehold... Thus it will be necessary to aquire further intelligence about Omni-Tek operations-

All know that there has been unrest amongst the population of the Rubi-Ka, with disparate Rebel Groups forming in an attempt to liberate themselves from this Omni-Tek Domination...Therein lies another potential opportunity for the Assembler Research Group. If A.R.G. can assist the rebels in sucessfully liberating Rubi-Ka, then the Omni-Tek lease over Notum Resources will be rendered irrelevant, thereby opening up the Notum marketplace. This will lower costs for all concerned, while raising profits for Assembler Research. In aiding the Rebels, a corporation could also expect, shall we say, 'preferential treatment' from the newly 'installed' administration on Rubi-Ka after the Omni-Tek domination is lifted, likely with greater access to Notum Resources. In keeping with this, A.R.G. will seek to develop relationships with the Rebel organizations who would see Omni-Tek forced from Rubi-Ka.

In accordance with this plan to break Omni-Tek's leasehold on Rubi-Ka, it shall be the mission of A.R.G. employees to:

*Develop alliances with the various rebel factions on Rubi-Ka.
*Develop powerful nano applications with which to arm our agents and rebel allies.
*Infiltrate and sabotage Omni-Tek operations on Rubi-Ka.
*Acquire Intelligence with which to discredit Omni-Tek within the ICC.
