Thread: Command for targetting

    Lightbulb Command for targetting

Can't we get a targeting command like
    /target Pet "name"
So we can make macros for what pets should do.
it is often too hard to target your pet in a team fight.

I believe this can be accomplished with macros.

    /macro heal /pet "life" heal %t
    /macro attack /pet "killerdude" attack %t

not sure if thats the correct way to do it as I'm not online and cant look at my macros.
    "Haxamon"
    lvl 200 Crat

    "Bludmusik"
    lvl 81 Adventurer

    "Boottodahead"
    lvl 58 Fixer

    "Stopgap"
    lvl 70 Enforcer

    "Opposite"
    lvl 54 MA

Smile No I mean Target pet for buffs

I want to be able to have a command to target my pet, so I can buff it, like.
    Macro T_agro /target Pet "Agro"
And then I can buff him
or even better use it in a script

My suggestion for this is to have HUD health bubbles, like the current selection, for all your pets. These bubbles would be selectable, and doing so would make them your current target. This way you can see at a glance what their health is, and also quickly select them without the absurd cntl-tab mechanism that scans the universe.

Additionally, these pet health bubbles would have an indication of the time remaining, so you can keep track of it. If you're a crat and have a charmed pet, the bubble would indicate time remaining on the charm.

An enhancement to these bubble would be to right click on them to bring up a pane on your pet that contains relevant information, like current heal/attack target, name selection (w/ rename ability), currently running nanos, etc. etc.
