The first and every following MP who refuses to buff me because of this absolute childishness goes straight to my ignore list. The one thing that really grinds my loins about mmorpgs is how serious some of these sadsacks take these games. Boycott... sheesh.

If I was ever in a group with a MP that refused to buff I am sure this person would get cicked pretty fast.

MP= buff prof. it would be a like a NT/Soldier refusing to attack, or an enforcer refusing to tank... its pure stupidity!

I buff every single NT I see with MC Mochams (or less depending on their NCU) JUST because I played my NT up to 104 and he's, well, lame.

Waiting for Funcom to fix the Profession, but it doesn't look like it'll be happening soon.

Anyways... Im not on the same kind of boycott as many other MPs seems to be... I am on a MP boycott, I DONT play my MP anymore, before I get some answers from FC... maybe thats the way it should be, make every MP idle, so FC would say "Hey wtf why isnt anyone playing MPs anymore?"

Oh well back to play one of my uber alts, atleast they give me some joy in this game

Thats a much more sensible way of boycotting... not refuse to buff.. but to refuse to play those chars.. if you are unhappy with them, then dont play them.. if enough ppl stop playing those alts FC will eventually notice

I can self-cast IEF, and it's like 400 million XP before I can cast any of the new NT nukes in the unlikely event I can ever find them. So what do I care what MPs do or don't do. Let them go snuggle with their own pets somewhere for all I care.

I ask you to not hate the MP profession. We are just tired of not being listened to. I do hope you understand. I ask that people boycott by not playing the MP and start an alt.. that way you can be killed by the very pets you are fleeing from.

I wouldn't join your boycott either. Ours is explicitly against buff beggars and we only buff teammates and organizaiton members now.

Try a little more understanding and a little less prejudice next time please.

I used to be a vocal supporter of NTs getting fixed and luved. Can't be anymore with the way NTs have acted over in our forum. To each their own is the way I guess you want it to be.

You know, untill I read the boycot link I thought it was stupid. Now I somewhat agree.

MP's do need 130+ content. And for FC to say that feedback provided says they have a role in a team....bite me FC. Our role in a team is this. Target tank. /pet heal

From 130 to 200 it's all about getting a weapon, or getting into better equipemnt. Post 130, MP is no longer really an MP. We are gimped.

However....

Up TO 130, we're great. Probably a bit lower though than 130. Funcom should fix the few small issues with this class and NOT NERF US. As worthless as our pet's get at higher levels a nerf would make us more useless.

The fixes are minor for the most part, unless they are adding new content, which would be better. So do it Funcom! Jeez!

My other high level character is an NT though. And I have something to say about that....

FUNCOM GET OFF YOUR LAZY TAIL AND FIX NT'S!!!! Have a little meeting at Funcom HQ or something and discuss what CAN be done. THEN, throw it out to the players. Then go back, review it, and come back to us and ask again. Test it, and yes actually TEST IT, and don't NERF it 2 days later!

Every time I get on my NT I feel a tremendous amount of hatred for Funcom and the nerfs and all the ignoring us they have done.

The sad thing is, NT's dont REALLY have anything they could boycot, unless it's a mass abandonment of the NT population from Rubi-Ka.

once again a mp is complaining cause they are so uber that they can do eveything at 130

please stop it makes me sick cause even at 200 i will not beable to do everything and can barely do anything now on my own

All Funcom has to do is double the reqs on all the MP nanoprograms except for the nanoskill buffs. Then they will have all kinds of things to look forward to like casting demons at level 195, just like NTs get to wait till then to self-cast their best nukes.

Silly me, for using reactionary old-style thinking. Funcom has a much better way of dealing with a profession's ability to use high level stuff at low level. Just put level requirements on everything. That way they don't have to worry about all those skill numbers and buff numbers and all the ways they add together to make other numbers. Arithmetic is real tough sometimes over in Oslo, I guess, the level requirement concept is some kind of new math simplification.

Seriously, weapons can be OE by 20%, but nanos are so special and über that they have to putt lvl requierments on them(even though they were never OEable anyway) weird...
