A large group of MPs on the forums are starting to boycott buffing people outside their guilds and orgs. I find it funny and sad. I've asked for less than 5 MP buffs since I started my NT so I'm sure I can outlast the two week boycott. If it lasts longer, well good thing I'm in an org. Whats everyone thinking on this?

Hey, its their boycott. Let them have it. It won't do much, like if Enforcers stopped giving out Essences. I say oh well and wait to see how Tower Wars will be.

I never ask for a buff - except on stunningly rare ocasions, and they've never been from MP's - this isnt anything personal - im just a great believer in self casting nanos.. actually no wait, i've done it once.. I have MP friends and they buff me - but i normally cancel the buf, cos it annoys me to have an uploaded nano that i cant cast yet.. i might aswell just leave it in my bag...

In the end this boycott will hurt them more then us. As vergil said, both Nts and Mps have buffs for each other and its not wise to hurt our relationship more.
This is a damm shame as an NT that has supported MP issues in the past (and I'm happy to say we will be seing pet root breaks yay) I find this a very sad situation.

Hmm very sad. Especailly considering they are a support class and there Buffs are crucial for players at high level s who want to take on the uber mobs.
For us casting Lick or other Nukes.
For the Fixer who at 200 who needs mochams to reduce the OE when he gets debuffed by mobs like the one etc
Overall a sad state. And they arent making their problems being head any better.

It's kinda wrong. They chose to play a buffing profession, if they dont like that, they should reroll. There's a reason why the mochams, infuses etc aren't self only.

Although I'm not pleased with the way FC are treating the MP's I am not supporting the boycott (Among other classes, I also play an NT). Feel free to ask me for buffs =)

Most of the MPs are not supporting this so I wouldn't worry about it.
I remember a patch many moons ago where the MPs got tremendous 'love' ...
Even though that so-called Funcom Love turned out to not be so great, simply the fact that they got it caused a big stir on Rubi-Ka, as many professions were 'why do MPs get all this stuff?' And many of the MPs on the boards were saying very mature things like: 'stfu mofo' and giving everyone /finger ...
Now the class is experiening grief (as are many classes), and they want to protest by not giving out buffs to other players? Sounds like many are still giving /finger to the player base ...

Many MP's don't agree with it. Refusing to buff anyone except my guild and team members still means I'm going to be buffing dozens of people anyway.
Speaking for myself, I'm on my alts more than my main and for several months now many other high level MP's have decided to just reroll other characters to try and just have fun. That's probably the most natural kind of "boycott" that can happen and doesn't require any player activism.
MP's should be FEARED.

The point is and was to get attention for our profession finally, to just get a few simple questions answered. I'm sorry to dissapoint all you profession griefers and nerf wanters that it is already working.
The fact that people who aren't participating in it are going across RK right now asking people "Why"? is accomplishing the task it was started to perform.
love patch? I don't remember one, I remember a patch that fixed a number of things to work as they were supposed and introduced a number of new things that don't work still. As I recall that same "Love" patch (12.8) saw more content added for the NT than the MP. Has the MP community been clamoring that it isn't your turn to get a patch?
Now I'll leave you to your never-ending ceaseless complaints and nerf-calling on the MPs.
