    Lightbulb No full patch notes for 14.6 yet, but...

    ...here's some of the stuff that's in 14.6:

    *New character creation and arrival hall

    *New NPC chat system

    *Newbie dungeon; Condemned Subway

    *Tower / vehicle shops under construction on Rubi-Ka

    *Initiative fixes on these weapons:
    -BBI Faithful
    -Nova Flow Mark I
    -Arwen MO-404 Grenade Launcher
    -HSR Explorer 661
    -M-1 Bipower A
    -MTI - Russian Good Day
    -Manex Catastrophe
    -Collins IX Bio-Energy Rifle
    -Netgun
    -Schuyler Bow

    *A boost to the Queen Blade

    *All bows set to use Physical Initiative (Pow Bow is a crossbow, and uses Ranged Initiative)
    {Edit: Oups. Being a bit tired here. I meant the Bow-Blaster, as some people asked me about it a while back. And the Reet-Tech Junior Urban and Oneida Razor Half-Bow too. Sorry 'bout the mix-up. }

    *Thrown grenades implemented (throwing knives didn't make it)

    *Wen-Wens now work

    *Level 200s can now use the side application forms

    *Nano Repulson now buffs Nano Resist, as it was supposed to

    *All outdoor mobs now give more XP

    *Evades lowered on the outdoor glowing bosses

    *Pet profession NPCs now summon pets in combat

    *Soldiers recieve nano buffs for several weapon skills

    {Added:
    *Enforcers recieve nano buffs for several weapon skill}

    *Nano Programming nano buffs for Nano Technicians

    *Revamp of Martial Arts special attacks (Bird of Prey and such)

    *Missions requested from booths by Fixers give higher QL loot

    *Coffee machine available through trade skills

    *Solar Pistol can now be build and improved by trade skills

    *Organization names now display over people's heads, colored by side

    *Atroxes get more health, while nanomages get a bigger nano pool

    *Chance of scoring critical hits in PvP halved
    {Edit: We're increasing the crit chance on the Agent's Concentration line to 200% to leave this at 100% in PvP}

    *Fixed a range bug on concealment from other players

    *Monster info (shift + left click on the mob, or target it and press 't') updated

    *Recieving team heals no longer breaks concealment

    *Fixed a range bug on Da Taunter

    *Repaired a bunch of broken trade skill processes

    *Other bug fixes, tweaks and new content. This was just a taste. More to follow tomorrow (I hope).

    no new buffs or weapons for enforcers?

    your gonna have a hella time explainin that to the enf board

    yeah yeah, I know your probably testing the stuff right, then will be 14.7? can we get some heads up on this. It hit the database as a complete surprise to all enforcers, but now there is a kind of expectation now that you put it there.

    halved crits in pvp.. mmmm, that sounds tasty for non crit - or - die weapon users

    I would have to say that this is an typicall example of how an flame should not look like. You need to think things through and calm down before you try to write an flame... Im sorry but I would rate this flame with an 1. Aggression is to high, grammar and cursing isnt to well planned... Maybe he has an point somewhere in there but I dont even want to find it. - Centurion3

    I have a question though:
    *Chance of scoring critical hits in PvP halved
    Is this because of scope and crit buff nerfing, or is it a PvP-only effect? Was this discussed anywhere else?

    It's not complete, but from what I've seen .. good work. The half-crit in PvP sounds great also. LLTS is a remaining issue tho. Not because it's bad as it is, but because FC hasn't decided on what to do with it.

    I put my faith in that they do whatever they do with it, right tho. I simply don't have the time to worry about another mess-up.

    Cz, if you're lucky, you'll get a taste of my fresh-made coffee in 14.6. But you damned bring me some of those new nanos and blackstaffs

    Great stuff, FunCom!

    I am very happy to see a number of important and long-overdue fixes get implemented. It's also nice to see new functionality being added. Keep it up! There are many people out there who are still really enjoying this game!

    While the crit issue did need to be looked at, for those profs with dark blue weapon skills, crits were the only way for them to be even semi effective in pvp. I can see that this is party an effort to make profs use their skills, and not be soldier/agent/trader wannabes. However, this is a half assed fix at best, since the whole reason most of us are wannabe gunslingers is because our skills suck. I do hope this change means that Funcom will be looking in to the many issues surrounding nuking/pets etc.

    Soo..River was really good in PvP for most profs and overpowered for MAs, now you change crit so river are useless for most profs but still very good for MA

    * Please tell me we're getting XP for pets. Or else it's just risk with no reward and players don't like that.

    * Please tell me Hunter KIWD Xbows are remaining ranged init, or you are REALLY forcing me to switch to the X-3 (and considering I'm about the ONLY person over 150 on RK-1 using this weapon...)

    * Reports from test indicate the xp boost is minor (10% range) - since I can already tell you this won't be enough considering that the mobs are up to 2x as hard/long to kill... will further tweaking be possible? For example, a Sandworm is roughly equivalent to a Veteran Enforcer and gives ~20k xp, upping this to 22k doesn't exactly help when for the same effort we could kill a Veteran X and reap 35-50k.

    So you have nerfed agents totally again then? Our 100% crit buffs reduced to 50% and Gnats Wing reduced to 15% in PvP?

    Oh my God is all I can say. If this goes through... It will be 12.6 all over again. Rethink this PLEASE. Or you will have a totally gimped profession at your hands... If anyone will still be playing it that is.

    We got those few second buffs, to try help us back, after a row of continual nerfs starting in with 12.6, and now they are removing them again, jesus christ, I have no words that will not get me banned, that speechless I am atm...

    I mean, those buffs wwere always pretty useless for pvm at any rate...The logic here totally escapes me, why nerf the crit anyway?

    But I am not sure the soldier buffs is any good. The rest seems ok.
