    MELEE USERS need new swords

    PLease make some new looking weapons for adventurer or melee class 1hand slashing they all look the same so through out your characters life your always weilding the same looking weapon. please look in to this.

    Seriously, I agree. There needs to be more variation in viable weapons for every weapon type(that also differ in graphics)

    You guys looked at the 14.6 database? There's lots of melee candy there, maties, so whine no further and have a look..... 1HE, 2HE, 1HB and 2HB get a new selection!

    I would have to say that this is an typicall example of how an flame should not look like. You need to think things through and calm down before you try to write an flame... Im sorry but I would rate this flame with an 1. Aggression is to high, grammar and cursing isnt to well planned...     This has to be the only thorn in my eye recently...

    I love AO because you can experiment, and you're not under some strict rules; when you're a wizard char, you can fx. wear guns.. But that is slowly changing......

    The trend is going to be more and more profession specific weapons, I think.
    I really can't see the problem here.
    If the enforcer gets those nice 2HE buffs, and can therefore equip a high req. 2HE sword, why should it have a profession req as well? It that new sword gives more damage than an equal ql "old" sword, you can just put a higher 2HE skill req on it then. The Enforcer can compensate with the 2HE buffs and therefore have a better weapon.

    I don't need rules to tell me what and what not I can equip.
    Let the players own stupidity be the judge of that.

    the problem there is funcom shot themselves in the foot with the uber trader drains. They can get +378 pts to all major weapon skills so how can u keep them from equipping uber weapons meant for fighter classes unless u make a prof req? I know it sux, believe me; im an adven who would love to equip the new enf weapons. but odds are i couldnt equip the new 2he and a trader of the same lvl could :/ That is bad....

    i think what disco duck is saying, it change the graphics on weapons, all SOL fires and executioners look the same, albiet a bit smaller/larger, but the same general graphic. He wants more variation, and i second that with a big hot sweaty bump.

    i find the fact that in the future with GUNS, the swords look mideival. and the technological looking ones suck. i wish they would make it futuristic, cause the fact that a [17th century]sword could beat a gun is laughable. and maybe a nice fire effect for those wimpy lookin sols.

    Well... The best melee weapon for enforcers is a Construcion Beam fer god sake... How is THAT fer laughable?
