So now Pistol NT is no-more?

Should i just unequip lust? Almost logged it on now, but got gauntlet invite..

I was so excited for 30 minutes i was able to play with nanodeck + pistol.

This pistol removal is.. well not a welcome change. I loved every minute of blasting off bursts while nuking. Gave me something to do while timing nukes and regular hits.

So how've the non-cyberdeck related changes affected pre-TL7 NTs with the SL nano cast time screwing about? I've been doing other things and haven't logged in much the last week so I haven't played with the NT changes at TL5 yet.

No, but I was pretty clear a weapon debuff was likely coming.

At this point, the left hand slot can be used for a buff weapon, but then equiping the Cyberdeck will make it useless otherwise.

While there's room for init debuffs to affect SL nukes, they seem to cast more smoothly, in general. Lag is a bit less of a factor, which is a really nice change.

That, or if you're trying to come up with a few points to push you over a new tier for GIVA, toss on a Soft Pepper Pistol.

Just remove any ammo for whatever gun you may use from your inventory, and after a little delayed reaction, the cyberdeck should shoot like normal.

But with this nerf wouldnt it be better to give it mutli melee requirement, so we use some NT crystals, or something froobs can use. Like pillows?

Either way, technically, you aren't supposed to be able to use anything in the left hand.

At the moment, you can use a ranged buff weapon, of sorts, if you so choose.

I don't see why we can't use something in the off-hand. Put a mitten on your right, you can still use your left.

We wanted some kind of gadget. Not really extra damage, but some kind of buff doohickey or whatever.
