Remi Gallois - Arete Rocket Launcher Quest - Not for Froobs?

Remi Gallois gives quest on Arete to kill aliens with a rocket launcher with the reward being the weapon composites, ranged & melee.

When my froob toon talks to him all I get is:

Flashing a killer smile as you approach the young man before you spreads his arms at his side, directing attention to his wares.
Remi Gallois: This is a dangerous world, friend - I'd hope you're prepared. That Omni-Tek... yokel over there believes that you can hide from your troubles behind some shiny plasteel. Personally, I prescribe to the idea that the best offense? Is a damn good offense.

No opportunity to do the quest for the weapon composites. Is this working as intended?

I did a walk through vid for this, it's in new arrivals and knowledge DB, I could not get the mission on a fr00b toon which I talk about in the video my guess is that because the mission contains Mechs, and related content it has a "must have expansion" lock. :/

Considering that the reward for this quest is the 4 weapons composite nano crystals ... worth approx. 400,000 credits depending on your comp/lit skill ... perhaps this could be reconsidered.

I believe froobs are allowed to participate in the team missions in the alien ship ... if the alien ship is OK then why not the rocket launcher quest?

I agree here. Plus it'd also act as an 'LE Incentive' so to speak for new players.

I think you have a point there Emma, the nanos are not exclusive to the expansion; so I don't think the mission should be either.
