Why remove agent size on ruse? It's a thing the defines AO to me and many others, a thing that sets it apart from other mmo's in sheer personality and quirkiness. It's been part of AO for 15 years! Removing a personality core part like that for the sake of gameplay does not sit right with me.

Pretty sure they consider it an unfair advantage on pvp and size has been exploited by some to make them sort of invisible.

It has to do with the forth coming engine not being able to handle mesh resizing, and a few other things in AO that graphically a dx9 engine can't handle, once the dust has settled on 18.7 it will free up Mitchi and team to work on the 18.8+ engine on beta to get it right eg new textures and meshes etc.

Do you have a reference for that cause really can't believe that's the cause. Scaling is one of the very primitive things a graphics engine/GPU does.

why not bring back the ruse size but when entering combat the size auto adjust?

I was told it has to do with ranges and targeting.
I actually believe it because back when I was testing it, I discovered I could cast from farther away using Ruse 4 than when in normal form.

I miss being a midget. :/
