I don't know much about hellcom or about point accumulation rates but that seems like a bit of a over-reaction.

Yeah that's harsh, not surprising really though, hellcom hand out bans like boyscouts hand out cookies. Try being banned for answering a noobs question in ot-shopping channel. Some people just get way too filled with their own self importance.
I went clan for 3 months on 1 alt.. been leader for 5 years and a vote was necessary to get back into hellcom.
