IRRK: Rubi-Ka couple sole winners of galactic lottery
August 12th, 29488

Borealis - Husband and wife Tommer and Janis Kaiser (55) of Borealis were the sole winners of the galactic lottery in the draw on Monday August 11th. The winnings surmount to approximately 750 million standard galactic credits.

In a brief interview with the ecstatic couple, Mr Kaiser, a vehicle mechanic, says he couldn't even remember having registered for the lottery, but that he's thrilled that he obviously did. When asked what they will spend the winnings on, the pair said they would at least purchase a new, luxurious home and travel off-planet. "We want to take this opportunity to reach out to our estranged children, Ryan and Risa, as well. We hope you'll come with us on a vacation.", said Mrs Kaiser.

This is the first time the winners of a major lottery prize are citizens on Rubi-Ka.

The chief statistics advisor in TG Powerball, the company behind the lottery, explains that the relatively small population on Rubi-Ka compared to other inhabited planets, moons and stations in the Tri-Galaxy quadrant is why there is a low number of local lottery winners.

IRRK extends its congratulations to Mr and Mrs Kaiser!
