Anarchy Offline

Anarchy Online as a tabletop wargame?
I thought it could be done.
I've just finished my Omni city section for my 'Anarchy Offline' gaming project so I thought I'd share (actually it's not finished quite, there will be video screens in the final version).

It's only small because the game's designed to be played on a 4ftx4ft area but I'm happy with the feel of it. This is just one possible configuration, set up to allow me to photograph it.

I've made quite a lot of stuff for this project and painted several hundred miniatures too. If there's enough interest I'll post some more but if it dies a death no worries, I did it for me not anyone else.

anyways cool board.....would you be able to have like an 3D connect-four-ish board that you can drop your equimpent in....a 3D Paper doll for implants/armor/etc ^_^.

If you have time can you please explain what material are buildings, soldiers, canons and trees are made off, and how they were made? By machines or hands?

I plan to build something creative and useful like a perpetual motion engine, but it is like mission impossible unless i find a solution to overcome friction by the help of gravity.

Is there any Isaac Newton or Nikola Tesla relatives still alive who can help me out here

I make my buildings out of cork tiles.







The miniatures and vehicles are either plastic or metal which I paint.
Most are commercially available, this project is inspired by AO not a faithful copy so I tend to use miniatures that have the right feel (for me, everyone will have a different interpretation I'm sure).

Earth elementals make good Hecklers for example:



And this is a passable Omni Juggernaut/GoT:



Some miniatures I had to make myself such as these MP pets:



And some creatures needed to be sculpted by professionals and then cast in metal. This is not for the faint hearted, it costs a lot, way more than a 12 month sub to AO :
