i know over there i can find 100 new friends who speak in my mother language but i Hope AO get a comeback and my acc is payed up march 2015 and paying for a second game is ill.....

What's the obsession that everyone has with finding someone who speaks the same language? Every game of LoL I play it's the first thing people ask.

And noone ever answers in the positive, even if there is another frenchman... and then ingame people start talking to eachother in languages only they understand in the open chat. Great sense of community.

And ESO being "overpopulated" doesn't make it a good game. Amazingly it hasn't gotten any good press! Even the usual "OMG THIS IS A 90% 9/10 GAME!" reviewsites are like "meh" about it. Everything posted about it makes it sound totally meh. And yet, people throw their 60€ at it in their millions. Wow. Go back to WoW or GW2 or whatever. Those games are obviously all so much better.

ESO; worst game of 2014. "playing it felt like a Gameloft game" - was a quote from a review. How wonderful.. If you're not familiar with Gameloft, they're a mobile game developer specialising in creating those games that look like they should be good, but are bogged down by an infinite grind that is there only to make you buy your way out of it.

Also, I despair at the taste of AO players and the whining that goes on here if they think that ESO is a good game that AO should model itself after.

i like to talk free without translating and reduce verbalize and we got this at rk3 in tower battle and raids,
we got every weekend ~300 player in Teamspeak there to play coordinate.
as long as i have a few german guys left here in AO i play it.

i give a pice of shi.. to the "Press" ....the biggest lie widening platform !
i played 4 times in beta over there at ESO and i give them time to fix bugs before i toast my hardware from fail coding.
btw 4 weeks before release it was sold out at the most seller....sounds a little opposite of the Lie Press and it cost 29,58 € incl 30 days playtime and not 60.

Well, it's easy to learn a common language that lets you communicate more widely. Look at me, I speak 3 and understand 5 and I only learned two in school. The rest just picked up on the way throughout.

The press is not spreader of lies to those that are critically minded. It is, however, very telling when the normal "lol 9/10" sites don't praise it with that kind of coverage.

Also, it is indeed 60€ if you buy it at elderscrolls.com, buying it at retail here makes it 65€, greenmangaming has it at 60€, so I guess maybe if you go to one of those sites that sell stolen or otherwise su****ious keys you may be able to get that price, where I can see that it's generally around 35€.

And well, having thousands of people buy a really bad game is not that hard. You start out by taking a very loved and succesful franchise, The Elder Scrolls, develop a pretty standard MMO, and make all the normal mistakes, include a ridiculous amount of bugs, have it be grindy at launch to try and mask your lack of endgame content, now spend 100 million $ on an advertisement campaign so massive that pretty much everyone anywhere thinks that your game is the best thing since sliced bread, and there you go! Millions of sheep will rush to buy your garbage game, and perpetuate the belief that really shoddy games are what we really love. And then these people will continue as fanboys who defend these garbage games because, hey, they purchased it and spent time on it.

GW2 and WoW having multiboxing is not a problem. They, like ESO, are basically singleplayer games taking place online. GW2 is the closest to having any kind of meaningful pvp interaction, but WoW? It hardly counts as having pvp. So, what's the issue? Certainly WoW is a much, much better game than ESO ever will be.

Steam client. Steam workshop so we can customize textures and music. And so we can create custom missions. That is what I'd really like to see. I don't expect to upload models like Juliet from Lollipop Chainsaw as my character like I can do in Left 4 Dead 2. But I wonder how many legal loopholes and content creation problems could be solved if you incorporated the Steam Workshop. Or if the Steam Workshop was incorporated when that one person was making icons for the game.

Not only would the Steam Workshop be impossible to implement, it would also cause a whole avalanche of compatibility errors between people having one mod and not the other.
