Well last I recall his home was invaded by the b-units... and he disapeared. Thats the last I remember of hearing about him. I may of missed something though. Glad to see him back though!

Yeah, I think I wanna know more about this from a reader perspective. Originally I didn't really care for the character IC or out, but there's a huge mysterious gap here, and its got me wondering what's up. EDIT: I get it now. Apparently there was an April Fool's joke about him defecting to the clans over something ridiculous in the first place. Nothing to see here then. :/

Defecting to the Clans was Aprils fools.
He resigned from Omni-Tek because Bahirae forced him to, and then went into hiding.
Omni-Pols Lt.Commander Craig Fairbank sacrificed his life to save Sergeyich when the Riot Specialists invaded Ivan’s house in Jobe; and brought Ivan to Omni-Pol and those fighting Bahirae during the "B Incident".
Ivan met with Eva and said he couldn't come back due to signing a none-retraction notice.
I now assume him and Eva have figured something out...convenient timing for something.. but spoilers
