    Init-bugged weapons

    I checked Jayde's, and found that (at least I think so - I mostly use auno.org which still uses 14.5 db and still says melee init) both the manex catastrophe and the BBI faithful seems to finally be fixed and using ranged init now. Can anyone on test verify it?

    I think I read on the test forum that someone has verified this.

    But all the test people are getting super-aggresive when asked for any info from non-test char playing people, so i'm not posting there

    Nah, we're cool with people asking about things like the BBI fix, it's just the hordes who come on after as patch asking where the uber items are that annoy us.

    Or, just possibly, no one has asked for bug info lately, so the only questions he's seen *are* spoilers, so all he sees is people getting pounded into the dirt.

    I understand where you guys are coming from, but doesn't change the fact that you should chill out a bit.

    Finally, it is my impression, from talking to test-server people, that the bug is fixed on quite a few weapons.

    I know, for example, that the manex certainly is.

    The init is fixed in the db at least, but with the sever timer problems on testlive right now it's hard to say if it's really working as it should.

    Ill get back with an update about bows when we get a patch or two to solve the timers.

    with the new bow/crossbow changes, it seems that all bows now are running on phys init as they should (the schuyler being the bow most ppl were looking to have fixed - formerly on melee init) and the crossbow types (those with rifle as primary skill now) use ranged init.

    The inits on the Manex Catastrophes is fixed, I did quite a bit of testing (ie. killing every mob that could resist Mele based attacks) and had no problem.

    Gotta say, making the Crossbows rifle/bow is *very* nice.

    Opens them up as more viable weapons for Agents.

    Down with the X-3! The Reet Tech will triumph!

    Why would any agent use the reet tech over an x-3.. other than to rid themselves of the clone look?

    The reet tech:
    Slower
    Smaller clip
    66 rifle/33 bow so less attack rating and more IP spent
    Lower ave damage
    Lower crit damage
    Less than half the range

    But has slightly better mods and you gain fling.

    It would make my day if they made crossbows use ranged init.

    They are ranged weapons if FC hadn't realised!

    (it will never happen, sinse when has FC ever listened to the non MA populus?)
