/name command

Before merge i remember that /name command (/name first, /name last) works properly on RK2.
But on RK1 your name request was still in queue doing nothing.

After merge it seems that /name command work like on RK1 previously.

Can we await this command working again ?

Yes. This was the way on RK1.
But on RK2 it worked properly.

Same like different SL dungeon respawn time. On RK1 it was 20min. On RK2 it was 8mins.

It would seem to be more efficient to make the command work again for nick, first, last ... rather than to tie up GM's and player's time waiting on a petition.

Unless there is a technical reason due to names won as part of merge, but not yet claimed by logging in to RK5. If this is the case, why not release all those "unclaimed" names.

Now you know where 'RK5' is. And why. RK2 worked, so it got sold.

Everyone from RK2 knows RK5 was a RK1 clone as it has your spawn timers and not ours.

it didnt work on rk2 either love

every time i used the command /name first (or /name last) it worked on rk2
even 2 days before merge, it still worked for me

It worked on RK1 as well, if your character was made before the number of characters ever created went into overflow. Happened around the 08-09 mark. All I see in this thread is that RK1 was the superior server chosen by more people.
