Defend the grove sucks if you are not geared to the teeth. Your holiday event should scale to the team and their gear. I got murdered on the second encounter. Golly what fun. Not everyone is 220 with all the best gear and has 5 other friends also geared to the teeth. GREAT JOB as usual FC.

I don't know why I bother, definitely not going to upgrade and buy more time after that one.

So you want FC to reward mediocrity now? Why not hand out BOCs outside FT while we are at it.

Let's face it, the miy cloaks which drop as loot from that instance isn't required for anything ingame, it's a twink item. So it's not really required they make it accessible to every char out there, regardless of level range, equipment level

Also consider that not every prof may be suitable for particular instances. I don't know what prof you did the encounter on, or its survivability in such encounters, but maybe some other profs may do better with sub-standard gear. I remember doing this encounter the last halloween it was on with an org team of 4, and we lasted till wave 24 or 25 if i remember right and none of us were spectacularly geared.

At least there is loot coming from that instance this year. I was with the team that, as far as I understand it, got the furthest on that instance and all we walked away with (after some 3hours or so) was a t-shirt.

This encounter is not easy but quite fun. Did that twice with org team.
First try we got wiped on boss but second try we brought 2nd Doc + made proper assist and it went OK.

To scale and instance to level of team should be possible, but suggestions to scale it to gear of team is totally ridiculous.

can't scale to skill/gear.

Easiest way to scale encounter is to make the boss's level equal to 300/220 *top level in team.

To become "haves" of course.

Just like all "haves" was "have-nots" at some point, but decided to become better geared in order to be able to do harder stuff better or even be able to do it at all.

That's kinda the way these games works, otherwise there would be no reason to go further than level 1 in n00b island gear if you should be able to do everything as a level 1 in n00b island gear..

Have anybody seen other stuff than cherry candy in Old Scholl missions?
I´ve done 30 ish missions, only seen candy!!

I did not count how many "old school phats" missions I have done (probably around 25-30) and every single time I only got 1 candy.

I did half of those missions on 220 shade and half on 150 sold (hoping that loot table for level 150 will have higher chance of ql15x chapmans....

I would like to hear from anybody who got anything other than that ...

That logic applies beautifully when we talk about farming gear to improve the toon we are playing. Unfortunately we are talking about loot for some people to have better low level alts and/or to sell.

And then those same people whine how it is impossible to find teams for anything and how dead the battlestations are.

Well so far I'm pretty disappointed. Was hoping to get some twinking parts for lowbies...

Regular Pumkins drop nothing but crap, no armour at all this year.. And the Griefing are just that, PVP grief I don't have the toons for..

If you're not finding any Halloween loot besides candy then maybe you're doing something wrong since I've found 4 or 5 Halloween items without having to do over 30 missions. That or you have some bad luck. I did maybe 6 missions and have gotten the pumpkin helmet, a jack-o-lantern melee item, a candycorn nanospray, that candy that seems to always drop, and something that looks like a Ghostbusters proton pack. Please note that I'm not doing this on a high level toon. My character's not even level 15 yet.

He is not trolling, he is genuine newbie who is probably enjoying his first halloween in AO.

I have craplot of backpacks full of all kind of hallowen social items from many halloweens.
What we are talking about are not social armour/items but Lya armour (used for twinking) pillows and Freedom arms Chapmans.

Pillows are dropping alone in the Missis ,Chapmans inside Missis and from the GUPHs Armor should drop from all Uncles

I haven't seen single Freedom Arms from GUPH, armor is pretty rare also. I have seen two sunburts though.,..

From missions there hasn't been any treats from small amount I have run.

Waste of time. I logged in and looked at how this is setup this year. A bloody joke as usual. That Fall offer stinks compared to the one we had last year..
