from all the responses and tells I've been getting, I think it might be a good idea to put the raid off until we decide on exactly what to do.
there's also 3 or 4 people that really want to join us but aren't quite ready for action.
I need some opinions, now that we KNOW we have some interest in a 200 raid/event, should we give it a week for everyone to get ready?
also I haven't heard back from FC yet on what they might do for us, if anything.
I think we should keep the list growing, and let people get geared, as we decide on exactly what to do, and focus on next Saturday.
there's also no reason why we couldn't do LotV then Mercs, or anything else we feel like tackling, it would be cool to push our 200's to see what's borderline impossible for them, we have some really great twinks out there

ok, hopefully this is cool with everyone.
after logging in and fielding the tells, it looks like Saturday, the 5th is the event date!
total of 5 people that want to join us now that need some days to get ready, level, etc.
as it is, we should have a raid of 25ish if everyone shows, but even if 15 shows I htink we could make it happen, I'm personally hoping for 30+ I know there's plenty of twinks out there, the more the better!
so take the week to update, and level, and help the others get ready, and keep spreading the word.
any new ideas are appreciated as well.
as it sits, we're looking at LotV+Mercs, or an APF.

If you want a 'zod like' encounter, try doing inferno catacombs. The mini bosses in there are of the right difficulty, I believe.

As far as time goes:
would anyone have a problem with starting around 2 pm EST?, I think that would be 6 pm GMT
from the people I've spoken, they agree this would be the most convenient time. post any opinions please, I want to try and make it possible and convenient, for as many people as we can. and could someone check if this interferes with S42, or anything else going on at that hour? (I'm not big into pvm raids, so I'm somewhat clueless about when these things happen, sorry)

Bro, thank you for the consideration, but honestly, I'm the worst guy to plan around. I get 2 hours a night of play time, and I'm in the worst timezone for the rest of the world.
I'm in GMT+10 (eastern Australia), and only play from 8PM to 10PM reliably - with all other times on the clock going to family/work/wife time.
