Ugh, the arid grind. I noticed I could set up my MA in there and get a lot of AXP per hour, but I forget how much (was between 1 and 2 mil I think). Was grinding AXP for my NT though so didn't bother going AI30, just AI24 for my alt.
Yeah I got about 1.5m a hour, and 2m a hour if we had a crat. Wasnt that bad to do actually, its just that you have to get thru the whole 'boredom' part and just keep on going. I figured, I might want to spend 3 days straight farming there instead of going there every day for a hour. This was simply the quickest hehe. Was well worth it :P

I alway have AI30 by the time I ding 200. All it takes is 5 -10 minutes a day doing solo alien daily.
From what I remember it requires about 5.5m AXP from AI29 to AI30.
One reward is about 550 000 AXP and as it takes 5 minute it gives a rate of 6.6m SK per hour

29-30 is 5.9m. And no, it takes 3 months.

51081790/144 ~ 355K AXP/daily => for 5-10 minute dailies, between 2.13 and 4.26 million AXP/hour.
Even 10 minutes/mission (pulling/doing/returning) is unlikely. My guess is no more than 2 million AXP/hour is possible with this strategy.
They're pretty close in terms of efficiency. One just takes at least 144*18/24=108 days to do, but more realistically 144 days=4.8 months.

Well I'm not guessing. That's what will happen if your only source of AXP is the reward from turning in AI dailies. Now if you kill some aliens during the missions then that will change. But that would also increase the time it takes to do the missions. The only way to definitely do alien dailies in 5-10 minutes is inviting the char for a general kill that you'd be doing regardless.Your guesses are wrong, but I do not care

I'm also not advocating one method or the other, I've never farmed arid.
cute, someone trying to brag about pvm in this game. I can kill so many in any given hour /flex
If you play a high DD profession, you can farm the aliens inside the AI dailies. Go in, kill everything, don't complete the mission, leave the mission and reenter. Boom, mobs are up ready for you to kill them again. This farming is actually quite effective, since the aliens in those dailies give alot more AXP then regular ones(city, sec10, sec7). Also, it's better now to get AI30 pre-tl7 because mobs die alot faster.

From level 23 to 30 it takes 10 daily missions for each level (each mission is 10% of the total). So - at most by only doing dailies - it takes 70 days (dailies) for levels 23-30.
