Org Message Spam - Your city upkeep payment

Something seems to be wrong with city upkeep messages. It is really spammy.

Having the same problem. The spam time of this notice needs to be adjusted. Most of the org has org messages turned off, which defeats the purpose of having org messages in the first place.

Spamming this message every couple of minutes for 48 hours is ridiculous.

Just went through this yesterday and the day before. It's only been a problem since the server migration and the new instanced city. Every other org I know is having the same situation. Please, please, fix this.

No need for it if there's enough creds there.

Note that you can use the /filter command to filter for "Your city upkeep payment" or something.

Ofc this defeats the purpose if you WANT to be notified of those payments. But it works for alts or bank toons where you don't need to see everything.

There are supposed to be 2 different messages.
One says "...your city will be demolished." and the other "...or you will lose your city."

The first one is sent to any member when they zone, but ONLY if there isn't enough cash in the bank. The second message is supposed to only be sent if the 'warning level' changes (48, 24, 6, 4, 2 and 1 hours). If the second message is getting spammed, then something is not entirely right somewhere.

Why does the second one even say that? If you already have a check to see that they have enough creds, why does it just not say "Your city upkeep payment of X credits will be removed from your Organization bank in Y hours."?

This needs to be checked on. While within the same zone and over 2 bil in org bank, constant spam regarding the city upkeep. Starting from 48 hours continuously until the upkeep has been removed from bank.

Hope it isn't one of those "it needs to be fixed, so it won't be" situations.

This. The spam from 2 orgs the last few days every 5 minuts was very annoying and and there where plenty of creds in both org banks.

This is the spam we would get every few minuts:

INFO CHAT - [Org Msg] Your city upkeep payment of 134500000 credits is due in 1 hour(s). Please make sure the full upkeep amount is available in the organization bank or you will lose your city.

Would get this every few minuts with just the hours changing from both orgs counting down the entire day till it was actually payed.

As stated before, over 2 bil in bank and this message was spammed constantly until 24 hours, then it was:

Same as the two posts above. "... or you will lose your city" message spammed for 48 hours, until the upkeep is finally deducted from the org bank.

better 2 times more spam as waiting into grid or ICC to try to not enter a gone city

It is the Lose your city if upkeep is not paid message not the demolish message.

Just had a full blown panic in my org less than a week ago. Every member of my org was getting these msgs and they thought we were in trouble. I had level 20's who are new to game trying to donate their 100K of hard earn creds to save the city... With over 1B in the org bank!!! So Im not understanding why we are getting the msg at all. AND its not due until the 5th of the month.

Can't understand why the msg was set to spam 2 weeks ahead, but that is just wrong..lol No President likes to see noobies fencing themselves in a panic because the world is ending per a msg regarding rent they arent responsible for, is already there, and not due for nearly 2 more weeks!!

Not even sure why, with no competition for spots any more, a city needs to be completely demolished when rent isn't paid. Why not just completely disable it? Lose stat bonuses, can't enter it etc.
