Bot Drop Curious

No, the title doesn't indicate a nouveau kinda hanky-panky. :P I'm jut wondering ... and maybe Ive missed it.. This forum seems packed with info that goes a decade back almost... so its possible.. but lets chat again

I was told by a player that the drop rates in the instance cities was nerfed when they came out, to encourage people to not form new orgs just to get instanced cities and raid non-stop...thus flooding the market with bots. I take this info with my usual grain of salt.

However, since I have set up the repugnant "instance" city shortly after the merge, I have been running an average of 2-3 raids a day trying to get some AI armor set up for an alt. I have to say Im concerned. I have only seen 3-4 bots in this entire time, and my org mates report very similar numbers if not worse.

I have not yet sat down and calculated it out... which I may do later, but just wanted to see if anyone else noticed issues in getting bots to drop since the merge. Granted, they have always been stingy with the bot drops, but this is getting crazy. I can't recall ever going this long and doing this many raids in org without anyone seeing a bot drop. Frankly, 1.2B for a piece of Supple armor isnt happening for me, and 800-900m or more on GMI for the bots is a 200-400M increase in the last 2 weeks.


What happened to all the talk about balancing the economy in game so things were not wildly priced? No.. ignore that.. Just curious to see what people are getting bot ways in their new cities.

Maybe im just having good luck. But ive done about 19 - 21 city raids since merge. and ive gotten bots like 16 times. all ql 240+ too. also got a double Observant bot drop, twice. so dunno

Not a single bot in over 3 weeks now for any of us in org.. That CAN'T be right.. can it?

I've been raiding every day for the last three weeks three times a day on average and I've gotten one arith one enduring and one strong. my old city had much better drop rates I hate the new cities

Done about 40 raids since merge, 1 supple 2 arithmetic

Went through half a bag of ICE (13 tl7 220 raids to be exact) and only got 1 spiritual and 1 observant (ql220). No one has really had any luck other than 1 supple drop (also below QL240) in our org.


I wouldnt read into it though, there will be a spell where some cities dont get anything for a while and others get a lot of drops.

To be fair, I earned more supples in a month than my friend did in 5 years. And all of mine were above 240. I haven't farmed in the last few weeks though; my ICEs ran dry after I got bored of S42.

In my years of farming I have yet to get a 240+ supple.

Also concerning post merge stuff, I have done about 15 raids in 2 cities, all gens have been xoch, and none have dropped bots. My poor ICE

All posts here got very few to nothing but this guy is damn lucky. This can't be right...right?

It's been confirmed by FC that the chance of getting a bot drop of a gen is 10% so yeah, that's rather lucky ^^

Probably around 30 raids and 1 Strong bot. :/

15-20 raids roughly (half of which included ship), a few enduring a few arith and 1 strong/1 observant. The final strong and observant from 1 raid (1 ground other on ship).

So as has been said, random as ever.

I have the distinct feeling that there is a diminishing returns in place for Bot drops. I play rarely, and out of memory I'd say bots drop at a 25% rate on the ground gen.

After le-missions and arid-rift (mindless zerging), and then dailies, AI-raids been turned it into credfarm.

Bots always been rare, but city-raids used to happen more frequently.

FC needs to improve city raid drop rates accordingly imo.
