I have no clue why Funcom decided to zero out all the global research for Mech's.
I agree with you that the research for Personal Mech's that we purchased or received as part of a subscription offer should be available now and function now.

Don't worry they will release a "mech activator" which you can buy in the in-game shop to enable that mech you have already purchased!

I logged my toon in that has the pre-order Personal Mech as well as the Xan pre-order Obsidian Personal Mech ... the ones that show in your account so no one can say you don't have them.
My toon can't activate either of these ... I am pretty sure it is because the research is not done, rather than they are lost.

but being told by a GM i did not even buy it is what made me start this post. i cant post the chat here as the forum will not allow me to but i have a copy of the chat on facebook in a group i run and a copy on my laptop were the GM says i have not bought it.
i still have a log of the points i bought that was used to buy the mech. its shown on my acc page under payments. its the only thing ive ever bought FC points to buy the mech as all the other items shop and web deals are just pure junk.
