ARK-Events Walkabout!

What is it? I hear you cry.

The Events Walkabout is a trial that I have discussed with Events Director Rainys whereby we seek a different way of gathering feedback from players other than the events-feedback@ email and the annual player meetings of yesteryear.

I'm looking at gathering what force I can from my side of the pitch as an able bodied, question answering troupe. It may be just myself and Rainys, there may be others.

We do intend to do what we can to give answers to all questions asked and feedback on all comments made. I'm hoping to scoop up all questions and form up a post-walkabout FAQ within a few days or so.

I'd like to apologise for the short notice at which we've done this, obviously we'll give more advanced notice if we run one in the future, but it's pretty much a spur of the moment thing.

As with all feedback/questions/comments, if you are unable to attend, I would greatly appreciate it being sent to events-feedback@ark.anarchy-online.com.

Dim2: 8pm GMT Saturday 2nd Feb

Probably both will run til about 11pm / midnight.

I think we're going to start in Newland City and move onto Borealis, trying to keep it neutral for safety's sake, we'd rather you not be fired on...on this occaision.

Well, short notice indeed. I read this less than 48 hours after the initial post and both events have already past... And even then both events started at about the time I log off. Nerf.
