    wow almsot 400k dpm. Thats a fast 12man.

    My problem with 12man is tht I'm always triple logged and can never get really nice dedicated stretches of DPSing.

    Plus I always end up with my DPSer in the fear team so then that means half the fight is spent running around....

    narf, actually I did a 12man last night and the top DPM was shade, and my MA right after, and the damage per minute was about 230 and 220k.

    398k is crazy fast. did you happen to have a trader doing AC debuffs for that?

    last night I broke 200k on my MA, this time, on engi, only 187k.

    Both cases is inf hard. also with 12man boff both times, but neither time with sold or keeper in team.

    both times was pushing pretty hard. also dual logged though so have to take a bit of extra time keeping alt in line.

    you need to take a 2nd look at your engie setup if you're not even breaking 200k with it. most engies i know are doing north of 300k without trying...

    On shade, I tanked most of it too with 13k health and had no sold in my team until last 30 seconds or so.

    This was a 12-man raid, we had 2 keepers so no one suffered from fear spamming either.

    mmm ohya?

    well, this was in inf hard. So fair bit of stop and go.

    I find it's pretty difficult to break 200k in inf missions unless you've got a puller, a really good layout and/or fixer runbuffs.

    So since you realise this yourself, why didn't you ask in which encounter you want DD to be measured ? To be able to compare etc ? Or maybe the point of the thread is not to compare DD ? If not, then what is the point of the thread ? I m lost in conjectures.

    All instances will produce different damage rates.

    I'd say LOTV/12man with 2 keepers will produce highest, with everything else falling somewhere lower with obviously inf easies with bad mob spacing probably resulting in the lowest.

    The reason why I think it's important to include inf mishes is because it's arguably the only place it matters (aside from S35 and S42).


    I know you can do inf mishes at a snails pace... but, the implication is significantly more for inf mishes than any other content.

    An average toon might do 200 inf missions, compared to say, 15 S35's, and 6 S28's, and 20 12 mans, and 20 DB2's. (just pulling numbers out of my ass here, but nobody will argue that the frequency is significantly higher for inf mishes than any other activity). Hence, if you can reduce the time (or increase the damage dealing rate) in an inf mission, compared to any other activity, it will disproportionately reduce the amount of time you spend in game trying to get a toon to "endgame" status.

    i, on the other hand, couldn't give a flying **** about inf missions.
    just because 99% of players are geared badly, don't have all perks & procs & nanos, downtime because of running to mobs and mobs low HP that makes them alpha-able.

    you can't say anything about toons capabilities based on those. and discussing about balance issues without any actual knowledge is probably more harmful if balancing devs read these forums.

    but if the game aims to make leveling fast, screw the endgame balance, then sure.
    i wouldn't like that game though, which is the reason my toons are frozen atm.

    temporal forgot to reset so DPM was like 157k or so, then died because I wasn't paying attention. wll do diseased next in same setup.

    pretty close to 400k but I doubt I can do much better than that in current setup.

    Thats the setup I'm using on the prisoners.

    I'm liking the mechanic perks. The 8k AC debuff is kinda cool, dog damage goes up a fair amount and you can perk out of combat (ftw)... starting the fight with an 8k debuff is nice.
