Hey guys - Today we have the long-awaited release of the v1 Agent Nano Document for everyone to check out and pour through over the weekend. Lots of new and interesting stuff in here so let's get started with a few tidbits!

    • Some buff lines have been condensed/combined to reduce overall amount of buffing
    • Agent DoT line A DPS has been increased
    • Detaunts scaled to be on-par with Soldier detaunt values
    • Critical Decrease debuffs have been increased
    • Skill-Lock Modifier debuffs have been increased
    • Added new AoE Root line

There's a lot of other things in the document which I'm sure you guys will enjoy discovering, but we also wanna talk about some of the bigger things, such as False Profession, which will now be known as "Visual Profession":

    • Visual Profession nanos will alter the Agent's stats and abilities to be more in-line with the profession they are mimicking. As an example, Visual Profession: Doctor will now raise Heal Modifier and reduced NanoCost Modifier, while lowering Aimshot, Concealment and overall damage.
    • Agents will be able to change their profession every 10 seconds - These nanos will not time out
    • On casting or cancelling a Visual Profession nano, all buffs will be wiped from the Agent's NCU
    • If the Agent has access to the Shadowlands expansion, they will now gain access to a special attack specific to the visual profession they are mimicing. Note: These are NOT the final perk actions.
    • Agents will not be allowed to combine their 'vanilla' Agent nanos with the nanos of the visual profession they choose. The incoming v2 nano documents will include all information on what nanos may be used while under a visual profession effect.
    • Perk action choices may be restricted while under the effect of a visual profession nano.

In addition, we also want to talk a little about the "Snipe Shot" (name still work-in-progress) ability that Agents will be receiving:

    • Snipe Shot is an Agent-exclusive attack action
    • This ability will fire off two instant 'regular' hits - These hits will have a crit chance
    • Snipe Snot does not require concealment
    • Attack skill on Snipe Shot will be Aimshot

    A few things worth noting:

    • Numbers are, as always, NOT FINAL. As we go through the process of working on the other documents, numbers will naturally change and alter. The numbers in this document are meant to reflect overall design *direction*, not a finalized set.
    • Perks, likewise, are still in the process of receiving a massive, major overhaul. The perk actions tied to Visual Profession are *not* finalized and may change as we go further into the process - Again, they are there purely to show design direction and intentions.

I also wanna talk a little bit about the naming conventions you guys will see starting in this document. A large part of the goal of this process has been increasing our general 'user friendliness' - Making things a little easier to understand, removing potential confusion points, etc. etc. After having a long, hard look at a lot of the nano names and the presentation therein, we've decided to try mixing up the naming conventions used both on nano lines and for the crystals themselves. You can see the start of the new naming convention being used in the Agent document, and these changes will be carried across the other documents as we prepare them for their v2 release. Likewise, post-rebalance, our plan is to alter the naming convention of nano crystals, to make them easier to read at a glance. Whereas previously you might have found

    Nano Crystal (Malaise of Fervor)

    you would now find

Bureaucrat Nano Crystal - Malaise of Fervor (Damage Debuff)

Under the new naming convention you'll see the profession the nano belongs to, the name, and the nano line it belongs to, making crystals much easier to read and understand at a glance. Not directly related to the Agent doc, but worth explaining none-the-less. =)

And that's the basic gist! If you guys have any comments, questions, or feedback, we ask that you head over to the Agent forum to check out the informational thread there and post your thoughts. Have fun reading through the document, and we'll see you back here soon - Have a great weekend!
