im quite sure a power cable wont create a magnetic field strong enough to mess with hdd.
especially since they have metal casing which should shield quite a bit.
also there is a strong magnet inside each hdd. if that doesnt erase the data, then a small magnetic field ouside the shielding definitely wont affect it.
did you already monitor the hdd usage? is it very hot/cold in the office? do the hdds also die on machines that run 24/7?
lool sure you CAN create everything in the game more shiny.
just to keep the rendering performance you need to downscale the complexity -> not so good looking anymore.
