    what about duke3d?

duke3d was so damn fun in multiplayer :P

chrono trigger (my characters are lvl 90, if you know the game then that equates to playing through the game about 20-25 times through and unlocking all the secrets. BEST RPG EVA, if you dont know it download an emulator and try it)
    secret of mana
goldeneye, those golden gun matches were great
the original super smash bros (good times)
starcraft (no game lets you be so creative, which is why it survived this long. i remember always playing westwoods latest iteration of C&C, and always coming back to starcraft, cause westwood just didn't offer the versatility)
    Mario Kart 64 (awwwwweewwwwwweewwww)
Half-Life (not for the game, but for all the mods it made)

anyone who doesn't agree is a lying sissy and needs tarred and feathered, before being given a nice Hug-O-Doom.

Mariokart 64 was a good game but not half as good as mariokart on the snes. Now that game took skill.

hmm.. noone mentioned SubSpace, it was probably one of the most fun internet games i have ever played and I started back in 1996 and I still play the new and free version called Continuum
you can grabb a free copy from here (www.subspacehq.com)

Perhaps FunCom should read the listing (if they havent allready) so they know what we like, or atleast get a clue
Operation impending doom 2 seems to have started with patch 15.6.5
12.6 first contact, 14.6 second attempt, 16.6 Invasion of the gabber bots ?

Hmm, am I allowed to use FPS?

Half-Life's gotta be high on the list. At least 4 years after release, I think, and Team Fortress Classic is still going strong.

And I need to nominate No One Lives Forever...the multiplayer wasn't so hot on me, but I loved single.

I think No One Lives Forever 2 gets a honorable mention for the time being- but only because it's not out yet. Just played the teaser on PCG's demo disk and though it's short, this game looks like it's gonna be awesome. Might I mention the rolling steel trailer (which fell on me my first try- oops)? It's a simple scene but they've managed to make it really detailed (I spotted a steel thing with clothes hanging and flapping in the wind, and there are colored plastic chairs on a lot of the trailer's decks). Plus, there are NINJAS. C'mon, what's not cool about NINJAS?

And there's a ninja boss lady but you can't kill her.

Oh yeah, the cutscenes and animation are AMAZING....

  15. #75
aye missmaul i never figured out how to beat that scene...my pistol runs out of ammo, the ninja stars are too annoying to search for and pick up, and it takes to long to get up close with the sword. how do i beat that? i ended up uninstalling the demo cause i couldn't figure it out.
