    I'd like to start off and say, "WOW". When I signed up for this, I had absolutely no idea what was in store for this profession I have been playing for close to 9 years.
    This profession has seen a lot of ups and downs. From being WAY underpowered to the point it was depressing. To being one of the biggest threats in pvp. But there was one thing in common with any period before this: we never really became the glass-cannon profession that we should have been. Well, from the changes that will be taking place, and from the discussions we've had, we will finally be able to be that glass-cannon profession!

    In a nutshell; Where we have lost defense, we gain in offense and support.

    Nanobot guard/shielding has been removed. Nullity Sphere is no longer the amazing defensive tool it used to be. BUT. We gain 2 (maybe 3 depending on how our nemesis nano works) DoT lines. 3 separate nuke lines that will account for most of our damage along with the accompanying new Nano Burst feature, which gives us a choice of great extra damage output or some very crippling debuffs. Our AoEs are now expanded to high level players without the long cast cap or restrictive range. Having high Matter Creation skill isn't a waste anymore since our Nano Resist Debuffs have been watered down, and we'll need the extra MC to land more consistently. Also, and more importantly, high Matter Creation won't be a waste because damage from our main nuking line will scale according to our MC skill.

    I think these collective changes will finally turn us into the high damage dealing (albeit squishy), desired profession that all teams would benefit from having.

With the possibility of new items, new expansions, new whatever in this game, the Devs wanted to set the bar a bit higher so there is still something we can achieve in the future.

    1. Cyberdecks

    - Now acts as a decent damage dealing weapon!
    - 2 Versions of the Cyberdeck: LE Version and SL Version

    Attack Speed:
    LE Version: 1 Sec / SL Version: 1.5 seconds
    Recharge: LE Version: 1 Sec / SL Version 1.5 seconds
    Range: 30 meters
    Damage Type: Radiation Damage
    Attack Skill: 100% Matter Creation
    Defense Check: 100% Dodge Range
    Equip Time: 4 seconds!

    Basic Cyberdeck:
    50-75(113)
    Augmented Cyberdeck: 100-150(225)
    Jobe Chipped Cyberdeck: 150-225(338)
    Izgimmer-Modified Cyberdeck: 200-300(450)

    2. Nano Bursting
    - 8 different options of debuffs/damage depending on damage type.
    - You start the game with 2 bursts. You gain +1 Burst per specialization giving you 6 Bursts at 4th spec.
    - The NT can build up his burst potential by using Alpha, Base, Finishing, or Special Effect Nukes.
    - After using an Alpha. Base. Finishing or SFX nuke, a 20 second timer will be placed in the NT's hostile NCU window.
    - The 20 second hostile NCU refreshes everytime an Alpha, Base, Finishing or SFX nuke is used.
    - The Duration of the debuffs depend on burst level.
    - Level 1 Debuffs Last 5 seconds.
    - Level 2 Debuffs Last 10 seconds.
    - Level 3-6 Debuffs Last 15 Seconds.
    - The Burst action has a 10-second lockout (on MC skill). Unsure if this will be effected by -skilllockmodifier.

    4. Damage Type Changing Line
    - New series of nanos which the NT may cast to change their damage type at any time
    - Your chosen damage type will not time out, and can only be removed via canceling
    - You may pick any of the eight main damage types of AO: Radiation, Energy, Chemical, Poison, Fire, Cold, Melee, or Projectile
    - If you do not have a damage type set, your damage will be melee
    - Only the four main nuke lines (Base, Alpha, Finishing, and Special Effect) are effected by this - AoEs and DoTs are not effected by this system
    - Which damage type you have selected chooses the type of effect you receive when you activate the new Nano Burst ability.
    - All nanos in this line have 1s cast and 1s recharge with no local cooldown.

    5. Nano Program Summary

    NOTE ON TERMINOLOGY:

    "Recharge" is when all of your nanos are in cooldown and you cannot cast anything.

    "Cooldown" refers to a single nano or line being in cooldown - You may cast other nano programs while these nanos are in cooldown. This is also referred to as "Local Cooldown"

    General
    - Unable to nuke yourself anymore!

    --Damage Dealing Lines:

    Base Nukes
    - First nuke line, designed as the 'bread and butter' of the new NT.
    - Has scaling damage based off NT's Matter Creation skill.
    - Quick cast, 1s recharge, 4s cooldown.
    - Some nanos in the line scale with the NT's MC skill
    - Used to build Nano Burst Level.

    Alpha Nukes
    - Second nuke line, designed as a 'first-strike' nuke.
    - Does scaling damage based off of NT's Matter Creation Skill.
    - Some nanos in the line scale with the NT's MC skill
    - Used to build Nano Burst level.

    Finishing Nukes
    - Third nuke line, designed as a finisher for low-HP targets
    - Does considerably more damage when your target is at or below 30% hp
    - Quick cast, 1s recharge, 20s cooldown.
    - Some nanos in the line scale with the NT's MC skill
    - Used to build Nano Burst Level.

    Nano Resist Debuff Nukes (Special Effect Nukes)
    - Fourth nuke line, which lets you deal damage, charge burst, and debuff your opponent's NR.
    - Replacement for the Constant Barrage-line of nanos
    - Nukes and lands a NR debuff on the target that stacks three times
    - Top debuff does -563 Nano Resist.
    - Distance has been extended from 10 meters to 30.
    - Line has been extended to be available at lower levels.
    - Quick cast, 1s recharge, 10s cooldown.
    - Used to build Nano Burst Level.

    AoE Nukes
    - Greatly extended across higher level ranges
    - All AoEs have a 20m radius
    - No capped cast times, 7s recharge - AoEs do *not* use local cooldown
    - Not effected by damage changing line

    NT DoT Line A
    - Single Target DoTs
    - The AI DoTs in this line having scaling damage based on how many perks are in the Ancient Matrix perk line
    - Line has been expanded across all leveling ranges

    NT DoT Line B (AoE)
    - AoE DoTs
    - Stacks with DoT line A
    - Line has been expanded across all leveling ranges.

    LE Nemesis DoT
    - DoT that does decent damage
    - If target has layers running, it does much more damage
    - Stacks with the NT A/B DoT lines
    *Note: Not sure if 'layers' means ALL layers or just Biococoon layers. Will update when I get confirmation.


    --Debuffing/Crowd Control Lines:

    Roots:
    - All roots are just now as effective in SL as they are on RK.
    - Specialized/Empowered Roots have been removed as depreciated due to the above.
    - Cast time cap has been removed
    - Requirements changed from MC/TS to PM/TS (will be shown in next version of the document)
    - Top three Root Nanos have 90% Nano Resist check. The rest are 100% Nano Resist check.
    - Chance to break lowered to 15%
    - Shorter Durations for PVM (Mobs)
    - Much Shorter Durations for PVP (Players & Pets)

    Calms:
    - All roots are just now as effective in SL as they are on RK.
    - Specialized/Empowered Roots have been removed as depreciated due to the above.
    - Cast time cap has been removed
    - 2:30 Duration for all
    *NOTE: Right now all the calms in the document do -750 inits. This will be fixed in future releases and the line will scale approperiately.

    Nano Range Debuff Line
    - 10 Sec Duration
    - 0% chance to break
    - Debuffs 20/30/40/50% Nano Range

    Blinds/AOE Blinds
    - AoE Blind Line has been expanded across all levels.
    - Top Blind (Optic Plague) does -356 AAO.
    - Top AOE Blind (Mass Optic Plague) does -350 AAO.
    - Using a single-target blind locks this line for 20s, using an AoE locks the line for 40s (local cooldown).
    - Black screen effect has been removed.

    AOE Detaunt
    - 5 programs in this new Nano Line
    - Top nano is -4164 Detaunt

    Special Taunt
    - 2 programs in this new line
    - HUGE taunts that require Nullity Sphere 1/2 to be running
    - Top nano is +60000 Taunt


    --Buffs & Assorted Nanos:

    Nullity Sphere Line
    - You can now run around with Nullity sphere as the root has been removed
    - NS1 casts a -5000 Matter Creation debuff for the duration of the nano
    - NS2 is now a damage to nano shield.
    - 1s cast, 2s recharge, 60s cooldown
    - Allows you to use the Special Taunt line

    Nanobot Shelter Line (Dmg to Nano)
    - Line extended lower

    Fortification/Mockery Line
    - AC Buffs Removed
    - Additional Nano Resist Added
    - Additional Max HP added

    Evade Buffs
    - Line extended lower
    - One new low level buff to use before Dark Movement
    - One new mid/high level buff to use between Dark Movement and the highest Evade Buff (Umbral Flight)

    Absorbs
    - Now self-only
    - MUCH higher nano cost
    - Extended across all levelling ranges
    - Highest shield absorbs 2467 while costing 3701 nano.

    Izgimmer's Wealth Line (Nano Healing)
    - No longer buffs max nanopool
    - Is now a Nano HEAL.
    - Castable every 2 minutes.
    - Top Program heals 20,000 Nano.
    - Lowest program heals 2500 Nano

    Nano Over Time (HE/PNH Line)
    - Extended upwards
    - The 6 new high-level NoT buffs have level locks for self casting as well as locks for casting on targets.
    - Top buff (Novictum Reaper) heals 588 Nano every 15 seconds. Locked to level 201+.

    Nano Pool Buff
    - Same line as Trader Nano pool buff.
    - Self Only.
    *Note: Duration should be four hours, not -1s. ;P
    *Note: Nanos are not to be level-locked.

    Nano Range
    - Mostly unchanged.
    - Notum Overload now buffs 110 range instead of 104 and has had the 4% nano cost increase removed.

    Nano Cost Reduction
    - Mostly unchanged.
    - Top program now decreases nano cost by 30% instead of 28%.

    Matter Creation Buff
    - Shares the same line as MP Nanoskill buff line.
    - Top Program buffs 155 Matter Creation.
    *NOTE: Does not stack with Mochams
    *NOTE: The reason it buffs more than Mochams is because the Matter Creation buff from our Int/Psy Buffs have been removed.

    Notum Overflow Line (+Nano Init/+Nano Dmg% Line)
    - Top Program buffs 300 Nano Init and 10% Nano Damage for 4 hours.

    Nano Programming Buffs
    - Living Codex of Izgimmer buffs a straight amount of 140 Nanoprogramming.

    Int/Psy Buff
    - Additional Matter Creation buff has been removed and added into our new Matter Creation Buff Line.
    - Range on Neuronal Stimulator increased
    - Neuronal Stimulator may now be cast on non-expansion players, but still requires SL to upload

    Self Root/Snare Reduction Line
    - Top Buff removes 100% of the root/snare.

    Team Root Reduction Line
    - Top Buff Removes 100% of the root from your team

    Grid Line:
    - Warp Nanos have been replaced with Grid nanos.
    - 3 New Self Grid nanos.
    - 3 New Team Grid Nanos.

    Damage Type Changing Line
    - With this line, you can change your damage type.
    - Once you have set a damage type, this will persist until you either switch damage type again or cancel the buff (in which case all nukes will be melee damage).
    - This ONLY effects the four main nuking lines
    - There is a corresponding debuff/nuke to all damage types
    - Pick the damage type that is linked to the debuff/nuke burst best suited for the situation
    - See Section .4 for more information

    6. Questions/Concerns/Comments

    Change Damage Output Icons:
    - They are too similar and will be hard to distiguish
    - Change icons to be more easily identifiable
    (Suggestion from Nanoforcer)


    Nullity Sphere Nanos too Rare:
    With the upcoming rebalance, and loss of crucial defensive abilities, the Nullity Sphere line becomes an
    essential part of -all- nanotechnician setups. Currently the nanos are far too rare and only the richest can afford them.
    The suggestion is that you make these obtainable as rewards through a quest or something similar.
    (Suggestion from the whole profession!)

    meh ill do it anyway.. The Nano heals and pool buffs are VERY welcomed at all ranges! Great work there! I saw a mini layers (awww 52 baby layers <3 ) for the starter NT's... ill wait for your post for my opinions.\

    Im guessing Genele isnt only playing advy anymore.

    Errr i think we should add str & sta buffs too ..

    1k more HP and 1k more absorbs ... well atleast they only last for 300sec before they need to be recasted
    with a constant refill of 588 pts nano entire time from the new PnH.
    On top of this there's a 5k nano poll buff....and a +155 MC buff.

    *thumbs up for balance especially with NBS running & the S7 nano refiller*

    I might be dizzy from the colorscheme.... but someone please say this is a aprils fools joke or that i have missunderstood it.

    Excel sheet is just ugly to read i need a summary

    The only thing i m sure about (maybe) is that there won t be fat hole digging nano that do 25K ish like DM do atm. am I right ?

    Since I know you guys are gonna comment on this, I'm going to go ahead and cut everyone off at the pass here and say the following: The nano document includes figures reaching up into 3500 Matter Creation. WE DO NOT EXPECT NANO-TECHNICIANS TO BE ABLE TO REACH THIS AMOUNT ANY TIME SOON. We purposely went larger than the amount of MC that NTs can currently reach as to give ourselves a little wiggle room on the top end and to enable us to add in additional +MC gear down the road. So no - 3500 MC is an impossible goal that you currently cannot reach.

    Crazy isn't it? NT's are actually going to have to perk into nanoskills to destroy their target now.

    Some of the MC reqs look kinda steep... and how exactly is the nano burst action going to work? Are the nanobot shelter nano's all the DtN we're getting now? Most importantly, why has the duration on the nr debuffs been slashed into a fourth?

    I noticed our SL roots have been removed... what gives? I can almost see the big grin on every enfo's face. I'm really hoping I've read the spread sheet wrong.

    i had a look at it and seriously i'm already loving it
    just the thing with nano burst isn't clear yet to me, but i'm in hurry so maybe if i got some time i'll get the point too
