unless there is a way you can have an actual functioning buddy list, I would rather deal with the spam then not have any indication of who is online/offline... just my 2 cents...

There's already a full iPhone chat client for AoC.... maybe go track it down and get author to adapt it for AO?

Even the FC people were all over AOCChat for iPhone.

@Farbman: been running it on a Legend with 2.1 allmost the entire day today, couldnt find anything weird. If you still have problems it would be great if you have time to provide some more details on when the problem occurs.

When I use the client and write swedish letters. Å, Ä, Ö. The phone and AnarchyTalk reads the message alright if I send it in private tell...

I take this for example

"nähe vad är det för fel" = Ohh, whats wrong. (roughly translated)

But when it sends I get this ingame on computer.

"nä vad ädet föel?"

If I send it from phone to org chat instead It print this "N(?)he vad (?)r det f(?)r fel? (on phones screen)

still same message in org chat as before "nä vad ädet föel?"

Something strange with strange letters. Just to let you know, hope you understand what I try to report :P

Otherwise its a great app if you use english language

@Xymlior : Thanks! Im swedish myself but somehow I never tried swedish characters :P
Probably have something to do with character encodings, will take a look at it.

@farbman : Sorry, have tested it for a while on a Legend but Im not able to recreate the problem, is there any more info you could think of? Like if there is a lot of chatting going on.

Question marks usually mean "suitable char not found", so encoding or incorrect language may be the cause, ie app is always using US english rather than the device native.
