Soli's can cast nano's of higher Quality than atrox STILL with this change. They have more hp than NM STILL with this change. They have more nanopool than atrox STILL with this change.

As far as letah's post I knew from the boards that it was a change in the works, took them almost a year to impliment but now it will. I chose my class for the long haul, and now it is giving me what I was promised, what they said it would, the way it should be.

As far as opi and soli disadvantage it only works for pvp, because in PVM you will be EXACTLY THE SAME as will the mob's. Soli's extra Nano has always been an ADVANTAGE in pvp, with NO NOTICABLE DISADVANTAGE. Think on this... with 40% cap you will be able to hit for more because my total will be more, hence it really isnt disadvantaging to soli at all in pvp.


now go roll yourself this UBER atrox you speak of and let me know when you are soooo much more powerful than soli!!!

Yeah, just checked and for an Atrox, the BodyDev shining cluster adds an extra 15 Hitpoints at qlvl200. Nice to see the BodyDev clusters not being totally useless now. NanoNanny is indeed incorrect as to the amount of BodyDev added on the clusters. I checked the clusters themselves over at Jayde's DB.

Edit: Also I just want to say thanks to all who joined in to not have the Atrox/Nano changes be done by 'items'. I know they probably had this in the back of their camping little minds and a nice uproar against the 'Atrox armor' and more crap like the 'Shades of Lubrication' I think prevented this from happening.

The way I see it Anarchy Online is all about Hit points and a minor nano poll buff wont help nanomages at all. ( but yes it will help to keep the breeds apart )

Remember that at later levels there are almost no more 'out of nano' problems - besides that 1 nano point != 1 hit point. So (for example) a Atrox NT will have ~1,5 k+ more Hp then a NanoMage NT, with the same damage both characters can do who do you think will die first?

Furthermore the nano poll buff will make recharge times longer... (better HE for NT's?)

Fun Com should think of another way to make Nano Breed a vailable choice! This breed was build to interact with nano-bots and cant leave Rubi-ka. A natural nano delta and / or -5% nano cost reduction should help.

Wambly, this does nothing to your sol characters. Nothing. It has no impact on them at all. They will be as well rounded as they ever were. It's true that they are no better off than they were before. But the key part seems to be that they are no worse off, either. They are unchanged, pristine, unsullied. They will continue to have more nano than Atrox and less hps than NM.

While I am in here posting, I'm curious how you drew the conclusion that the game rewards the well rounded, rather than the specialized. I guess my impression is just about 180 degrees from that, so I'm just wondering what you've seen and experienced that has given you that idea.

to put it extremely simple.

Up until now. Solitus has been the best breed for any class in the game save Atrox enforcer. because the atrox and nanomage had all the disadvantages that are supposed to be there. but none of the advantages.

Solitus will STILL have an advantage over nano/atrox in certain catagories, just like the atrox and nano mage will have an advantage over solitus in certain categories.

it is a tradeoff, like anything in life... if you choose a geo metro, you get great gas mileage but its not too fast. If u choose a dodge viper GTS Twin Turbo 800, you get speed without fuel economy.

since ao has been release, Solitus has been the equivilant of a Twin turbo Dodge viper that gets fuel mileage of a geo metro. This is a poor analogy, but it still shows what i and others are trying to say.

solitus are not getting nerfed. Funcom is simply applying a small amounf of balanace that should have been there from the beginning.

for example agian.. when you choose an atrox MP, you choose atrox because it has more HP, with the knowledge that you take a huge hit in intelligence and nano skills.. but guess what? your atrox MP has no more HP then a solitus MP... but you still get all those disadvantages.

solitus will still be a great breed to play. just now for those of us who like ot be different and choose something like a atrox doc/mp/nt.. we will see the advantage of taking this route.

Funny that I have two Trox after me ...

I haven't made any comment, yea or nay, about the HP adjustment. Only thing I have said concerning Atrox is that the breeds live up to their description without any benifits.


As for your attempts at insulting me:

I said MENTALITY .. didn't say word about if you graduated or not. Learn to read.
