The map is really cool, but I still use Meccano's/Oldchap's Map from www.fixergrid.com, as I cannot recognize the landscape with the dark coloring of your map.

Greystar, you may want to try the latest version of my map. One of the changes in it is that the terrain detail is a lot more visible than in previous versions. It just might do the trick for you.

When I made this map I had to make a trade off. I would either use the full color high detail terrain. Or i would design it with a little less detail so that small names could be clearly read on it. In the end I find that having the labeled points of interest far outweighs anything lost by the monochromatic color scheme. And the latest map doesn't loose all that much anymore.

(note that you will see more detail in the actual in game version of my map than in the compressed GIF image screenshots shown online due to the lesser number of colors in the online version).
