    That the changes to mongo will be a big step towards ending OST leveling?

    My bad then. Thought I've read numerous posts about the hot being removed from Mongo. Didn't really read the nano sheet.

    It's actually a better HoT in some respects that the current Mongo.

    Improved Mongo Crush:
    510 HoT * 10 hits = 5,100

    Mongo Demolish:
    1,530 HoT * 4 hits = 6,120

    The only possibility that it might nerf OSTs at all is the fact that the taunt on it goes from 25K to 20K. But at the level that Enfo's are pocketing, that's hardly going to make a difference. And they've said that they are going to be reworking some items to offset that loss. As for the max health.... meh. At lvl 217 my Soli enfo has 33K HP selfed with all buffs running and that's without a single perk in Colossal Health. Without the HP buff on Mongo, it would be 28K. That's still plenty to pocket in Ely and Ado.

    no its not a better hot since it heals for the exact amount over time then it did before.

    510 every 2 seconds is the exact same thing as 1530 every 6 seonds.

    they just increased nano cost and duration on it slightly.

    The increase in duration is significant (it's 20% longer, even if that is only 4 seconds.). The cost though is another story. I still don't think its a big deal for now. No enfo should have nano problems at TL7.

    yeh i know obtena.. i am just pointing out that over a minute it heals the exact same amount on health so its not a better hot.

    I guess I'm missing something here.

    Current iMongo:
    Min Max Hits Delay
    510 510 10 2s

    New Mongo:
    Min Max Hits Delay
    1530 1530 4 6

    That to me says that the first one hist 10 times for 510 each = 5,100. The second one hits 4 times for 1,530 each = 6,120. If the new one hits for 1,530 each tick, for it to equal the first one it would need to hit 3.33 times?

    it heals for the same amount of health over a minute as it does atm.

    the ticks are 3 x slower on the new version.
    3 x 510 = 1530

    so the pace of healing is the exact same amount... the nano formula just lasts a little longer but it has also been given a higher nano cost.

    over 1 minute the new mongo is goin to heal 10 times for 1530 wich is 15300
    over 1 minute the current mongo heals 30 times for 510 wich is 15300

    so no difference in healing just duration and nanocost.

    Well, in all fairness. If you let it tick out that last tick it is healing for more. 4 ticks of 1530 is more than 10 ticks of 510.

    Gives you time to cast absorbs or other things while healing for more total HP in one single cast of mongo pre-change than post-change. It's more useful, if only situationally or depending how you abuse the mechanic.
