I just noticed the email getting a failed to send messages has all kinds of upper and lower case letters in the address, could that be the culprit? generally the internet is case sensitive. (I'm guessing it should be all lowercase.)

Just a thought.

Edit: ..just tested my own theory.. the all-lower-case address also got bounced back.. standing by to see when the address becomes active again,

already brought this up to them. error is that the email is not there, means server down, being moved, maintenance etc

as for emails being case sensitive, does not happen. standard is the characters get formatted to lower case <or uppercase cant remember witch way it goes atm> anyways before sending.

As a temporary measure, given that we're not entirely sure how long the email address will be unreachable, we ask that all entries go to the following email address instead:

events.feedback@gmail.com

Myself and Pheats will have control over this account, and will be checking it regularly for contest entry submissions. =)

Unless you received a a rejection notice then no, you do not need to resubmit to the new email address. That said we only have one submission on record from you, credited to Lasliana - The 'four directions' design. If you sent in any other submissions, you may wish to resubmit then to the new address. =)

Yes, we have received that application for the NLCC. We'll have the ARK playing Toog whip up a response to it soonest, ie: once the necessary tools are back up again.

I know that Pheats will have a nasty revenge in store for me for making him work more, but I do not see anything that would speak against using it for that purpose for now. The other option would be to contact the LTCs IC via PM here in the forums if they do have an account.

Yes, given that we have quite a bit going on at the moment and are also preparing for the Events/Players meeting, you are free to use that address for contacting the department.

P.S. the only font used in my logo was 'Ariel' for the 'NEWLAND' name below the logo. but the font was stamped on the bitmap, so it's not really a font any more LoL

Got a question, are fonts which are licensed under the SIL Open Font License (OFL) ok to use?

... y'know, that's a really good question. Reading over the license and FAQ it *seems* like it'd be ok for use, but it doesn't really talk much about usage of the font in a non-distributable sense (most of it seems to be dealing with either documentation files or transfer of the font file itself, not usage as a static resource).

I'm betting it is, but I'll ask some of my more geek-legalese savvy friends and get their opinion. I'll get back to you on it. =)
