There is the famous quote "they're only Atroxes." That can give some insight as to the Atrox handlers, not just Omni-tek's, earlier disposition to them as tools, and nothing more.

My speculation is that Atroxes were purposefully made genderness, and with lower intelligence so they could work without distractions, and not question orders.

That could have easily changed over the years since.

Well, if I remember correctly the clanner behind the "Voice of Truth" illegal transmission through the gridfeed was an intelligent Atrox. I don't remember his name tho...

So is Aideen Landau. This attitude existed when the Atrox were first being bread. That statement might have very well been a strong turning point in public opinion of the matter. The Atrox have been around for a long time, and things can change. More importantly it's just an opinion.

Plights among other nationalities, and races will often skew their mentality, how they percive the world around them, and vice versa.
