agreed. it shouldn't be a panic button, it should be a last resort, with some penalty. 30 seconds is nothing, I zone, start to heal, and head back without any regard for that debuff, it's laughable rly.

a smart fixer doesn't even have to wait to get back into fgrid hihi

I don't really have any problems with fixers meeping. My problem is them meeping and coming right back. This is really irritating in a tower fight. The debuff klod posted lasting as long as it was originaly intended to or hell even 3 mins would be reasonable. Giving meep a 10 min lockout would also be decent.

It's like /afk in Battlestation, and people didn't like that. How is this any different?

If you get in PVP gas and attack, you should not be able to meep. Then maybe we'd see more real battles and less griefers all the time.

If you get attacked in PvP, you shouldn't be able to zone until AMS debuff period is over. It's a world of hihi-variations.
On a serious note, meep is the only reliable defense mechanism fixers have and only usable in RK.

Dot's dont kill them in regular grid too, but that one is ok imo since fixer have to evac sometimes.
In fgrid imo they should be affected by dot's, maybe that will stop the whines.

Like it or not: meeping *is* a part of a fixers toolset.
If you don't want them to be able to grid out, try to get FC to implement a chance of interrupting nanoprograms with ranged weapons... and other nanoprograms.

Oh they instacast it? well, cast an init debuff then.
They still instacast it? throw a stun on them.

And this is where someone will go "but keeper doesn't have init debuffs" and "doc doesn't have stuns!" -- well, wether you like it or not, you shouldn't be able to invalidate every aspect of someones toolset.
