If i was reallllyy bored i could create some truth tabels venn diagrams etc based on this for fun, but its tough to draw on a messageboard forum.

Difference between a farmer and what we did was that we
openly admitted to it, both ingame and on the forums. Everyone
that has duelled with me or knew me (somewhat) would know
better than to think I did it to farm points and get me "up there."
I was already at #2 on Top10 OT.

But I got sick of people that used this to trim their scores and
butt**** people they just duelled etc. "Let's go to Mort and trim
up that last death."

I hoped that FC would do something constructive instead of
suspending people for something so trivial. But I understand now
that I had overestimated FunCom's professionalism (or however
that's speeld).

What I did wrong was to demand FC's attention to just this
aspect of the game (seems I got their attention for 1 day, and
then they "solved" it with a suspension and a quick post by Cz).

To me it was the most important. To a pet-users, pet-pathing is
prolly alot more important. I did wrong in directing FC's attention
to this. I was selfish.

Still, doesn't mean I agree on the suspension (atleast not the
reason given for the suspension).

ok this statement is what pisses me off. Ask anyone who goes to 2ho on a normal basis, they'll tell you i'm there a lot. I'm only freshman, i've never been rookie or higher. About 100% of the time i'm on AO i am active in PvP. Maybe every 2 weeks i decide to go on a break because im sick of being a certain level or wanting to do new things with my IP and go level for a day or two. Your title does not by any means act as the deciding factor for your ability or your knowledge in pvp. I found it kinda funny you flame meurgen for being freshman yet you refute the fact that 2ho is a warzone, everyone knows a majority of high-titled people get them from duels with certain people and a combination of kills in camelot/2ho/mmd, or in your case, solely sitting around the arena waiting for someone to duel you in a semi-hostile environment. Or, others choose title farming.

Going to 2ho often, no matter WHAT profession you are (dont give me grid armor/evac bull****) means you will die and get kills on an undecided chance, depending on who is there. For someone who just refers to 2ho as a 'lagzone' it does not surprise me you base all your judgements on title levels.

And for the record, Argulace DOES pvp in 2ho, and i've seen him in mmd, even in tir arena. It doesn't matter whether he is less or more seen than another person in 2ho, he does pvp and for the amount of time ive been pvping in 2ho it is higher than acceptable for argulace to consider himself a pvper.

Maybe you should get to know people more before you make such ridiculous and general judgements on them.

I feel compelled to respond to this thread, oh well humor my futile indulgence.

First, as time goes by and changes are made to the title system people will have an easier time of appreciating why Caol and Nothinman so con****uously farmed their titles. Will anyone think twice about it or care? not likely... but eventually, once a more reasonable title system is introduced, we'll all be better off.

Disc is absolutely correct. Titles were pretty damn cool for a while, hell i was so jealous the first time i saw a freshman i still remember it. As we learn about the mechanics of a title's progression and the mystique is gone, a title is now just something else to "get" and "have". Whether by being (what i consider) cheap and not dying or paying to kill your friends, the fact that you're altering your behavior (killing some lil grey guy i'd otherwise let run by cause i want his title points) to have a public pronouncement of your own greatness float above your head...... Bleh why???

I was with you all they way but don't go soft now. Had funcom demonstrated a willingess to work with the players to improve the game you wouldnt have had to jab the stick in their eye. While i genuinely wish them the best, they deserve everything coming to them for not making a profound change in how they treat their customers.

I resent argulace as he's previously accused me of cheating. If he'd just fight me and let me have my second of gloating over his corpse i'd have forgoten his indiscretion a long while ago. But the worst thing i can say about him is that he takes pvp a lot more seriously than, well i do anyway. He is out there pvping all the time and i believe him when he says he got his title legit, cause he'd be out whiping himself in pennance had he done something to defame the glory that is the title system's due.

I have it from a reliable source that in the throes of aberic's suicidal last stand at pvp he was just too disenheartened by a trader's ability to n00bify him then root shoot at leisure that he finally gave up. This could be seen as righteous vengeance as aberic gave me some of my first lessons on where exactly that 25% line is and how important it is to have your clueless lil self on the right side of it.

Loca, dont know why but i think you're funny as hell, irrelevent or not.
