    As/sa

    Cannot find quickly some thread about AS/SA. Just hope that after balance this skill can use only profs which have skilled Concealment.
    And AS will have dodg-eranged def-check and SA will have close-combat def-dehck. And both attacks will have same timer. Lets say 40sec.

    ya let's make people waste ip into more skills they can't afford when ip is already tight for most profs.

    perception is busted in some way making the main SA prof (shades) not able to actualy effectivly conceal, so no

    how are we supposed to kill evade profs with out SA? (AS is being nerfed with def check and cast time to compinsate for its faster cycle) NR perks wouldnt be enough.

    why do you want both AS and SA to be nerfed so badly?

    Just use normals.

    His tl5 keepers' normals hurt like heck on an evade prof when they do land (2.1k standing def and he managed to kill me with regs after a while).

    Comparing AS/SA in their current form to perk attacks however, is apples to oranges. Perks have a def check by design. AS/SA do not, by a "flavor" design that dates back much farther than anything that can be considered contemporary.

    AS is not getting completely nerfed - the last I heard an unavoidable, no def check special would still be available, just not with the damage potential of the def checking version.

    Although using concealment is a bad idea IMO (a lot of people using those specials to be competitive in pvp have NO support for it), a similar change to SA makes sense - or, open backstab for all professions, and add a def check to it, plus lower the damage and add a "cast time" to regular SA (like what has been said for AS).

    The problem with nerfing those specials because they seemed OP when used by some professions is that other professions that are forced into them with no support simply to compete is that the "needy" profs will also suffer a huge nerf.

    The only way to correctly gauge how the final actions will work is to wait for the balance changes to be completed and see how the casual AS/SA users will be able to compete without access/nerfed access to these specials.
