Looking at most the whines and complaints from everyone on the forums, the dominant factor in almost all the threads is based on one player having lucky rolls while they have bad luck, and then immediately make a QQ thread about it (the other threads are about being in melee range and sync). So to end the "permastunned", alphad through AMS, capped with FA 10 times in a row, SA always hitting min damage, nukes always landing, etc etc etc how about we just get rid of all random chance in AO?
If FC is going to revamp everything it would not be that hard a feat really. All you need is to set the current % chance to fire every xxx hits. To determine if your special lands, each level should have an exact def check, if it clears it you hit, if it fails you miss. Perks % effects could simply fire only if enough defense has been passed (a seperate check even). LE procs and others, should fire every xxx amount of shots and land even count misses. Regular hits could even work like the procs, allowing you only so many hits per someones def level.
Honestly, wouldn't this be so much better than having to come on the forums and make a whine thread just because you are unlucky while pvping one day? Random luck is totally for RK4, lets make AO as static and predictable as possible, then we could easily balance everything.
