    Happy birthday RUR

    Today is RUR 7th birthday. It has been a troubled year for our company. It started with the Yuttos One-Who-Knows-Much-Trivia and One-Who-Puts-Too-Much-Salt-In-Soup takeover of RUR and ended with own of our senior engineer stranded on Rimor. Gimpa in RUR's mailroom faced her own trials and tribulations with the leetbot trapped in the shredder and the mail terminal turning into a reclaim terminal (thank you Omni-Com). Robot production stagnated while our Yuttos owners diverted our resources into to building a cybernetic bride for Ergo, Irma, but at least sales on the Yuttos Energy Drink held well despite a slight controversy over it's ingredients. And all along we've had to put up with Omni-Pol's constant harassment over some dubious traffic infractions and a really, really annoying new company song our Yuttos owners insist we sing each morning.

    But we are still here, hanging in the best we can.

    It still puzzles me as to why your mail system started churning out bodies... its not like the rez pads where changed just the defunct item reclamation system (long since been integrated into the "resurrection pads" themselves) but I suppose it could be down to RURs unique engineering traits...

    Happy Birthday I guess, look forward to another year of almost brilliant technology.

    Gunfytr sits at his desk, trolling local news on his comp. Seeing an article, he stops and reads it. RURs birthday? He glances up at a leetbot tail hanging from the top of the weapons rack in his office and grins evilly. He calls down the hallway.

    "Hey Saiben!"

    "Yeah, Boss?"

    "Do we still have access to some of those RUR pay accounts?"

    "Uhhh....I think so."

    "Good"

    Gun flips his comp over to the Shopping Network channel.

    "Now, just how can I make this a subtle, but memorable Birthday?"
