^^ that's reasonable ... if they know they are turning PVP on it's head with the re-balance, why would they bother adjusting PVP mechanics before that?

Because this is a problem that will continue to exist after the rebalance. Means acknowledges this when he describes the current ranges to be a problem.
They just don't have the resources to fix it though. That's the reason they aren't changing the ranges. Not because it's not needed and not because of the rebalancing.
Yeah, it would be nonsense to fix this instead of working on re-balancing. This has a significant impact at TL5 for a few players. Re-balance has a global impact on every player.

I was working on a visual aid for this a couple weeks ago...but I got bored. I was going to make a graph that clearly shows the spike in skill difference for the upper end of a pvp range.
Meaning...I was just going to make it clear that the same formula is used to calculate the range for shadowlevels, even though 1 shadowlevel is worth 5 RK levels. That's not at all considering the doubled amount of perks.

I'm optimistic that FC will look at this at some point as well. I just don't think it's going to be the amazing fix that our friends with level 170 'dedicated TL5 NW' (LAWL!!!!!!) twinks anticipate it will be so they can have NW turned into outdoors BS PVP + PVT.

WTB fix for this, it's patetic.
Breaks tl5 NW pvp to a point people now roll 207s to destroy the entire tl5 pvp range. (They kill 165+, and support their 170s so that they can kill 150s)
I suggest lowering pvp range as soon as you hit SLevels 5 level increase to the low range per SLevel.
201 - pvp range 180+ (old range 160+)
202 - pvp range 185+
203 - pvp range 190+
204 - pvp range 195+
205 - pvp range 200+
206 - pvp range 200+
207 - pvp range 201+
After 206 min lvl can be fixed to be 201 + for everyone above this level.
While this still does not fix the pocketing issue it leaves popular twinks level out of the range of the abuse. So we can have tl5s and a few tl6s fighting the wars that where meant to be fought with tl5s,6s.
