Thread: When are you going to rebalance Shades

    Just for starters, shades can survive zerges for awhile that dont have following.

    a, nukers, they kill u faster then well anything
    b, more then 1 AS user, u can survive abit if they are greenies thou
    C, engi 220 pets, they rip u to death in under 20secs with dof+limber+cib+sp+ static 3,4k clsc.

    My setup is in rough numbers 2.9k AR pre SP, 3,4k clsc and 3,2k dodge (with aad) pre limber etc. 16k hp

    This means to perk Nts, i need SP
    To perk any decent evade enfo(they seem to be everywhere these days) i need Sp.

    Keeper come in between once u SPed up, even then they can be unperkable.

    crat, ma, fixer, adv, shades that pvps i need MR to even touch.

    that leaves me with greenies, engis,docs,sols to perk before SP.

    Is that actually fair for a proffession 100% depending on perk dmg to kill anything? btw not to mention SA dont cap any1 with over 15k hp and somekind of reflect, usally do 2-4k on docs with 28k hp

    Ignorance perpetuates itself I suppose. So (weaponskill)*2+AAO are how blunt perks check def? I'd heard 50% was what they checked before and getting perked at 4.6k clc this fit what was happening. I guess I can go ahead and recalc this just for show if it even really matters.

    Let's say 2200 1hb skill and 300 aao. 4700 effective perk AR -_-. So oddly enough, I was wrong and yet am still right in my conclusion: The gimpest Enfo can perk any Shade. It's no wonder Nogoal didn't bother correcting this himself. It doesn't help his case, nor at the very least discredit what I'm saying. Second time I've seen him use a weak exit strategy.

    btw, does a 1hb enfo have 2400 1hb with cm/cc? or 2500?

    2500ish... i still get 2 alphas left to get in and i got 2459 1hb.. could get another 30 from ofab shoulder aswell.
    ohh and i can get 54 more from CoLI aswell since i only got 7 perked in it right now.

    he might have used MR aswell tho.
    but i do manage to land the 2 top perks of 1hb on most players w/o MR.

    Was confused about what you meant by diss. I believe you were referring to "Ignorance perpetuates itself I suppose." right? I was speaking about those who said blunt perks had 50% checks and how I believed this due to not being corrected until now. Wasn't aimed at you. If anything you stopped the perpetuation!

    bring the pain has 50% check and is an AoE stun that does around 1k-1.5k in pvp.
    Devastating Blow is a heavy attack that has 80% resist and can do up to 3.5k in pvp

    that would be the case if the check was 200% 1hb vs 100% evade close.

    the check is 100% 1hb vs 50% evade close which is (1hb + AAO) vs (evade close/2 + AAD)

    so a shade with 2.5k evade close and 1.1k AAD has (2.5k/2 + 1.1k) = 2.35k def rating

    with Limber up....
    2.5k/2 + 200/2 + 1.1k = 2.45k

    with Limber and CiB 10 evasive stance up....
    2.45k + 1k = 3.45k

    with Limber up and SP running on enf and shade (+711 relative AAD)
    2.45k + 711 = 3.161k

    with DoF up and SP running on enf and shade
    2.45k + 800/2 + 711 = 3.561k

    That's pretty much entirely wrong because of AAO and AAD.

    You're basically trying to tell me that:
    ((WeaponSkill*2)+AAO/OpponentDef = AttackRating/((OpponentEvade/2)+AAD)
    ((2500*2)+700)/3500 = 3200/((2500/2)+1000)
    1.63 = 1.42

    So much misinformation you can read on forums eh.

    Bring the Pain is 100% 1hb vs 100% close. But it doesn't work line other offensive perks. It has no ar/def check on execution just like defensive perks so it cannot fail. But the AoE works like nukes/regular hits mechanics so yes it lands a lot more often.

    Devastating Blow def check is either 100% or 50% close depending of your 1hb skill.
