To whom it may concern,
After just over two years of being neutral investigators, the time has come where we have decided to join the Omni-Tek corporation. The paperwork is being filled out as we speak. This is not because the DoI has in any way lost their heads, it's for two important reasons.
Jurisdiction, and the freedom of the corporation's facilities, technology and equipment.
(( Without jurisdiction all we can do is investigate, and that is, only if someone hires us and gives us permission to do so. Being private investigators, while the idea was fun and enjoyable, it often left us with nothing to do other than create our own plotlines and criminals such as Black-Net just to keep ourselves occupied.))
Hopefully with the decision to join the corporation, the Department of Investigations will have much more to do, and have the ability to actually make a mark and arrest people, and report to the directors. The DoI itself has caused quite a few of clans and neutrals to be afraid of us, almost as if we are a minature corporation. Omni-Tek suits the DoI flawlessly, and most Omni employees respect the DoI as brilliant investigators.
I assure you the uniform will not change much at all, and the DoI will always remain as it always was. Flawless, sophisticated, and professional.
I hope you all approve of the creation of the DoI Academy and the opening of applications and recruitment in the near future.
