Call it "Upside down" because it drives me nuts not looking down to the planet but having to look up.

That's actually the proper orbit for it, the primary interstellar drive would be along the topside with the living quarters and engineering. The bottom side would have the primary deflector system for interstellar dust. Once it arrives in orbit the station would "flip over" and the protection plates would face outwards to protect for any debris impacts.

Why socialize when your so busy farming your ass off for the 1 1/100 drop rate item in a team of 12 people who all want the same thing.

Much better to just keep grinding our bloody eyes out trying to get that 1 item we need to drop and even better clearing 3 entire albatraum PFs trying to get two memories for one bracer... and getting nothing. I want more grind... more damn you more! 10 Mitaar Heros without one Control Symb is not enough I want 100 before I get what I need.

The first thing you need to do Means is decrese droprates server wide. Also remove all filler and credits from mob (RK/Aliens) so that most of the time your efforts and time reward you with absolutly nothing. This will increase peoples willingness to grind and play more. This is good. Remeber according to you hecklers are a one stop shop. No we dont want to do this thing called rewarding time and doing more than one thing at once.. you should only be able to gain one thing at a time and it should take a long time as well with as much wasted time as possible.

Really, that premonition of Impending death is not real. There is no Express International Mail shipping with a P.L.O Love Device inside.

I love my alts but when I think about getting all the crap one has to today to be a "good" performing toon (good being having top end gear by most peoples definition) I find myself pondering waiting for the next train to come through town and putting my head on the rails would be more rewarding and less frustrating. I still find it sad that Means thinks hecks are a one stop shop for everything when instead the represent a huge design failure. A couple of hours at hecks make me want to gouge my eyes out. ROCKS ROCKS ROCKS. Farming crap in Alba made me quit the game and delete half my TL7s and 90% of all my toons on two accounts. Addiction still has me but by god I ****ing hate the place. I just think its very good that FC has its HQ in Norway because if you were anywhere near me sometimes I might not be able to resist the urg to go pay a visit and bash peoples faces in to vent pure frustration. I dont have a single "lucky" toon and by the players definition of luck.. I havnt had any in game since 2004.. My wife calls it playing the lotto because your chances of winning are the same. Sure some people have luck. I know a few. One who could randomly run out to an SL dyna and get a rare. No camping. No timers. If he killed it.. he got something.. some 80% of the time.

You see RK was done correctly, esp RK missions:

You do a mission you get: Credits off mobs, junk loot for credits, some crafting items for cred, and the chance for: Rare nanos, Nanos that sell on GMS, other assorted odds and ends that used to be usefull to some extent, XP from mobs is bad but the reward at higher levels isnt half bad, and a token. So for doing one thing (rolling) you get lots of stuff.
in SL you grind and grind and grind and pray to the gods of computers and games that after trying for weeks to get a team that one item you need and everyone else needs actually drops and you win the roll on it.

It cracks me up that you keep addint social venues in the game that are largly abandoned anyways because people are too busy just trying to get crap. The grind level vs reward level is off the charts... little to no reward for lots of time spent. The only variences are those who happen to fall in the loved catagory who already had it all and tend to get what they need early. I really have done ten mitaars w/o one control symb drop. And dont say solo farm it. It wasnt supposed to be solo but thats what everyone does these days to get their stuff. I love the look of the new Orbital Night Club.. but it holds no value to me because what time I have to play is spent endlessly grinding stuff.

There was a time when this game had a thriving social community. That time has passed.
