A common misconception, both my doctor and MA don't have reids in the name. And in some cases it's profession+reids

Yeah, but honestly I find that policy rather dumb - they could just make an info section when you "t" a player indicating past names/date or something.

I don't agree with the policy either, maybe it costs veteran points for a rename and it always shows your previous names when you 't' a player

I would really like to rename my advie his name is "grotesque" , I dont know wtf I was thinking.

creating a thread that talks about ways in which a rename function might be implemented is probably much more productive than just bumping a post about how you dont like your name though,

so maybe repost this redis, and include some suggestions as to how that might work

Be careful what you're asking for, something like this might happen:
