    Experience Level List

    Is there a list somewhere that tells how much experience you need to get for each level?

    I don't think anyone has compiled such a list.

    If you want, you could start one right now. And you could ask people on the board to help you. All they would need to do, is look at the xp-bar when they log in, and post the number here, along with their current lvl.

    With enough people, you would have the full 200 lvls nicely tiled up, and you would have a list.

    But for now, I think the post Mercatura made is the closest thing there is.

    Post Partial list (updated)

    Hmm, I take a lot of screenshots when something neat happens...and I'm bored here at work for the next hour. Not bored enough to fire up a decent math program and figure the curve out though.

    Note: This is xp to the next level when a char is at this level.

    (Yes they still get xp @200, but nothing happens when they go past the "level", it just keeps going up. Xscape says he has something like 500m xp over 200)

    Oh yes, all classes and breeds are the same. Verified this at a couple different levels.

    God **** I'm bored.

    Made it easier to import to excel with last edit
    First couple levels were hand done for sure.
    It sets last 2 digits to 0 on all levels but 1.

    Anyone who asks FC for more levels done like this needs to be drug out to the street and shot. Repeatedly

    K i'm gonna make this list myself then...
    Everyone please post every level you can get.
    Ask you friends, ask the begger at the corner, and start levelling yourself

    Then post it all in this thread I will collect it.

  6. #6
    My only fear is that levels might be different for different breeds or professions... Hope that is not true.

    .

    I think the formula for later lvls is somthin like:

    Nextlvl= currentlvl+(0,05*currentlvl)

    It's a polynomial alright, but it looks to be a lot more complicated than that one.

    Shubalubdub's interpolation is pretty close if I remember right, probably close enough for anyone's money here.

    maybe there is no mathematical equation for them at all and they just picked em. Cause if it is a polynomial then good luck getting to 300. Like say 500 trillion XP?

    Hmm i almost wanna do the math and figure out the approximate xp for 299-300

    But as i said. almost.

    Wink Sure, easy

    {
    for every bug there exists an X
    if X > 0.5 then FixBug
    if X < 0.5 then BugNotFound
    if X = 0.5 then PatchToLive
    X = rand(0,1)
    }

    I'm pretty rusty on set notation, but everyone forgets that crap 5 minutes after the test anyways.

    If any devs are reading don't take me too seriously

    More numbers! How can I resist?

    http://shub.20megsfree.com/Expchart.htm

    Looks logarithmic, don't it? Excel doesn't support a logarithmic scale, but it would be interesting to see.

    P.S. My earlier approximation was crap.

    K, I put it in excel and made 2 charts...
    1-200 and 1-100
    Seems pretty fluent line to me, except for a few strange bumps at level 60 and 76
