It is scheduled outage for the place that hosts AO, not AO itself. Its not written particuarly well, but we've had warning in the launcher a week.

All Anarchy Online servers are currently up and operational. Thank you for your patience concerning the most recent server maintenance.
Attention! Upcoming server maintenance tomorrow, 31 January 2009, at our facilities around 100AM - 500AM EST. This could cause server disturbances during these hours of maintenance. We are going to try and keep this brief and off peak hours.
This same Maintenance will be held Saturday February 7th 100am - 500am EST.
