A Promise
Council of Truth Press releases have long been the neglected aspect of the Council. Even at its highest popularity, the Council's press releases have been sporadic at best.
This update will cover several important events in more recent months and will hopefully continue to be released once per month after the gathering.
In and Out
"Playboyfixer" Will left the clerical staff several months ago due to private matters but not before the Council membership elected two new Clerical Staff members: Cherelle "Xeenah" Clay and Captain "Steelyglint" Arai.
Faced with some unforseen issues, Captain "Steelyglint" Arai of Rising Phoenix had to step aside as staff member and was replaced by Taren "Astera" Gorslin, former Clerical Staff member, to assist Mrs. Clay.
New Speaker
Sir Tristam Solis was recently elected as Council speaker and, as always, is gracious in acceptance. He replaces Mr. Aideen Landau, Clan Leader of the Unionists. Please join us in thanking Mr. Landau for his service to the Clans and the Council of Truth.
A First for the Council
After the Council passed the most unlikely vote of condeming Omni-Tek's attack on Neutral Sovereignty and voting to respect neutral rights, the Council broke more ground with neutrals by welcoming Newland Minister of Security, Captain "Agrestus" Wright to speak in the Council chamber about a security concern affecting all cities, sides, and inhabitants. No where in any history is there any record of a neutral ever being invited to address the Council. He spoke at length about the issues and shared information with Mr. Alan Jacobi of the clan Vanguard. In a more important turn of events, he was not sent to reclaim by patrolling Sentinels. We thank Commander Silverstone for this even though he was not in attendance, nor was he aware of it that we know of.
